Fabricated Non Steer Box Section Center Drop Axle
Abstract: A fabricated non-steer box section center drop axle (5,21) for multi-axles vehicles, a pair of cylindrical spindles (10), a pair of formed box section tubes (13), a pair of internal threaded sleeves (12) and a box section center drop bracket (17); a pair of brake flange rings (11) provided on the formed box section tube (13). The center drop bracket (17) is joined to the truncated end (16) of the box section tube (13) and the round spindle (10) is joined to other end of the box section tube (13). The box section tube (13) is formed as a rectangular cross section, with a round formed section (14) in one side and a box section (15) in other side, and the box section center drop bracket (17) is made from a top plate (18), a bottom plate (19) and a pair of side plates (20). In another embodiment the center drop axle (21) is made of a pair of axle spindles (24), a pair of internal threaded sleeves (25) and a center drop axle beam (26). [FIGURE 5]
