"Fabricated Pump Housing"

Abstract: fabricated pump housing of stainless steel grade material which is used in place of casted pump housing, which is comparatively less in weight, better performance ( energy efficient) and has better life (corrosion resistant} as compared to casting. This fabricated pump housing is designed in nine different parts that is Suction flange (1), Suction Pipe (2), Side Support (3), Upper volute (4), Center Volute (5) , Lower Volute (6) , Top Support (7) , Delivery Flange (8) and Bottom Support (9) . Latter on all the nine parts are fabricated to make pump housing assembly. The Lower Volute is then mounted on Motor to complete the Open Well Pump Set / Mono Block pump set Due to less weight of pump housing its assembly is also easy and fast which increases the productivity.

COMPLETE SPECIFICATION
(Section 10; Rule 13 )
Title:- FABRICATED PUMP HOUSING
Name of Applicant :-
SHAKTI PUMPS (INDIA) LIMITED
(Company incorporated under Indian Company Act, 1956 through Director),
Address :-
401,402 ,& 413 , Industrial Area, Sector -3 , Pithampur Dist-Dhar, ( M.P.) Pin-454774, India

The following specification describes the nature of this invention, and the manner in which it is to be performed
Title: - FABRICATED PUMP HOUSING
FIELD OF THE INVENTION:-
In Pump industries the main use of the pumps to supply water and other liquid from on place to second place . normally a pump made from two part body and other mechanical part. in body of the pumps first part of any motor is "Housing" because housing is the first part of the machine where water or other liquid interact with the pump hence due to continuous interaction with water or liquids this part mainly affect with several problems like damage of the housing or corrosion. Due to avoiding material force and damage normally in the market "Housing" of the pumps prepared by the "casting (iron) " material since long.
But due to use of iron casting material interaction with liquid or water "corrosion" generates in due course with effect to the performance of the pumps and also damage the whole body of the pumps.
Normally pumps are using in area where the demand and use of the pumps is frequent hence user have to carry this pump from one place to other place frequently like in Agriculture or Industries etc. so, the

transportation of the pumps is very difficult. this heavy weight of the pumps due to only " Cast Iron housing", because the casted iron in housing is very much "heavier" than "invented fabricated housing".
In our invention the housing "Fabricated " by the Stainless Steel Material which is lighter in the weight, heavy duty and "Corrosion" free. in our invented "Fabricated housing" which is made from the stainless steel is lighter in the weight and corrosion free which helps pumps to improve "Performance" and "life" of the Pumps,
The present invention pertains to single volute casing pump housing which is developed in stainless steel grade material in place of casting.
A fabricated pump housing of stainless steel grade material which is used in place of casted pump housing, which is comparatively less in weight, better performance { energy efficient ) and has better life (corrosion resistant} as compared to casting. This fabricated pump housing is designed in nine different parts that is Suction flange, Suction Pipe, Side Support, Upper volute. Center Volute, Lower Volute, Top Support, Delivery Flange and Bottom Support Latter on all the nine parts are fabricated to make pump housing assembly. The Lower Volute is then mounted on Motor to complete the Open Well Pump Set / Mono Block pump set Due to less weight of pump housing its assembly is also easy and fast which increases the productivity.

BACK GROUND AND PRIOR ART OF THE INVENTION:-
Normally a pump made from two part body and other mechanical part . in body of the pumps first part of any motor is "Housing" because housing is the first part of the machine where water or other liquid interact with the pump hence due to continuous interaction with water or liquids this part mainly affect with several problems like damage of the housing or corrosion, normally in the market "Housing" of the pumps prepared by the "casting (iron) " material since long.
Some prior art available under patent search are -
1. 1023/MAS/2000 - IMPROVISED SUBMERSIBLE
MONOBLOCK PUMP - In conventional submersible monoblock pumps, windings and bearings are lubricated by water. Here, the windings and bearings are lubricated by oil. Design of the pump has been amended to Incorporate the oil lubricating system for lubricating the enameled copper wire, ball-bearings and the aluminum die casting rotor. Transformer oil absorbs heat, thereby increasing the life of the motor. In order to avoid the silts from entering the motor, oil seals have been provided at appropriate places. Here, enameled copper wire Is substituted for PVC insulated winding wires. A lightweight die cast aluminum rotor is used In place of the copper rotor. In conventional pumps, gun metal bushes are used, which wear out fast. To overcome this drawback, ball bearings have been used here, which gives better

life and eliminates sound pollution. Opening has been provided at the back for the easy removal of the rotor at the time of overhaul.
2. 1165/KOLNP/2003 - A HOUSING COMPRISING TWO-HALF SHELLS FOR A SWITCHING DEVICE -A housing comprising two half-shells for a switching device such as especially a circuit-breaker, having an are path with two arc running rails which connect to contact points and between which a de-ionizing chamber is arranged which comprises a stack of quenching plates between the end sections of said rails and to which a blow-out chamber is adjaceifit which comprises a blow-out opening, and with walls integrally formed on the bottom shell and walls integrally formed on the upper shell being situated within said blow-out chamber, which walls each extend maximally up to the central plane of the housing, is characterized in that the walls on the bottom shell have a design which differs from that of the walls on the upper shell, and the walls on the bottom shell are arranged in sections in an offset manner relative to the walls on the upper shell and in alignment in sections relative to the same on the walls formed on the upper shell.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:-
1. Objective of the invention to prepare the pumps "corrosion free" which helps to increase the age of the pumps and improve the performance of the pumps .

2. To prepare the pumps which is lighter in weight and easy to carry or transport from one location to other location easily .
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:-
Normally used to pumps water and other liquid from on place to second place . normally a pump made from two part body and other mechanical part. in body of the pumps first part of any motor is "Housing" because housing is the first part of the machine where water or other liquid interact with the pump hence due to continuous interaction with water or liquids this part mainly affect with several problems like damage of the housing or corrosion. Said invention the housing "Fabricated " by the Stainless Steel Material which is lighter in the weight, heavy duty and "Corrosion" free . in our invented "Fabricated housing" which is made from the

stainless steel is lighter in the weight and corrosion free which helps pumps to improve "Performance" and "Age" of the Pumps.
The present invention pertains to single volute casing pump housing which is developed in stainless steel grade material in place of casting.
A fabricated pump housing of stainless steel grade material which is used in place of casted pump housing, which is comparatively less in weight, better performance { energy efficient) and has better life (corrosion resistant) as compared to casting.
