[0021] Fig. 1 illustrates false cover with motor, in accordance with an embodiment of the present subject matter. Fig. 1 illustrates exploded view of the motor with its False cover set 100 having a Front false cover 102 and a Back false cover 108 along with a guard holder nut 101. As shown in the figure 1, the front false cover 102 is in rectangular base shape 103. Referring to figure 3, the front false cover 102 has a circular portion 104 which extends from the rectangular base 103 towards fan guard side to receive the guard holder nut 101. Referring to figure 4, the circular portion 104 defines a threaded profile 104a to receive the guard holder nut 101. Again referring to figure 3, the circular portion 104 defines a through hole 106 to allow passage of shaft of the motor 200.
[0022] In an embodiment, referring to figure 3, the front false cover 102 has two vertically placed screw mounting holes 107 on the rectangular base 103 to mount the front false cover 102 on front face of the motor 200. The motor 200 has two screw holes to receive screws of the front false cover 102 in vertical position to restrict rotation of the front false cover 102. The mounting holes 107 are provided above the circular portion 104 in vertical direction at 180o circular distance from each other. The vertical position/ribs of the screw mounting holes 107 restrict rotation of the front false cover 102 in any direction. The vertically positioned screw mounting holes 107 securely fixe the front false cover 102 on the motor 200.
[0023] Referring to figure 3, the front false cover 102 has a plurality of snap lock receivers 105a, 105b, 105c, 105d (jointly refer as 105) at corners of the rectangular base 103 to receive the back false cover 108.
[0024] In an embodiment of the present subject matter, referring to figure 5 and 6, the guard holder nut 101 is provided to hold guard structure of fan to protect consumers/users from any accident. The guard holder nut 101 comprises a threaded profile 101a at inner side corresponding to the threaded profile 104a of the front false cover 102 for secure engagement. To allow easy opening and closing of the guard holder nut 101, the guard holder nut 101 has a continuous grooves and protrusions 101b on outer circumference of the guard holder nut 101. The continuous grooves and protrusions 101b help the user to easily mount and un-mount the guard from the fan assembly for cleaning purpose.
[0025] In an embodiment of the present subject matter, referring to figure 1 and 2, the back false cover 108 has a plurality of walls 108a, 108b, 108c, 108d which define a hollow cuboid shape profile structure to cover and protect the motor completely. The hollow cuboid shape profile has a plurality of vertical slots 111 to allow passage of air to air cool the motor. Further, there is an opening at lower surface for passage of wires also. The back false cover 108 has a plurality of snap fit locks 109a, 109b, 109c, 109d (jointly refer as 109) to securely fits the back false cover 108 onto the plurality of snap lock receivers 105 of the front false cover 102 during assembly. The plurality of snap fit locks 109 are provided at front corners of the false back cover 108 corresponding to plurality of snap receivers 105 of the front false cover 102. Further, the back false cover 108 has a screw mounting hole at back wall 108d to securely fix the back false cover 108 on the motor 200 from back side. Further, the top surface of the back false cover 108 has a circular opening 110 for oiling of the motor.
[0026] Based on the present structure of the false cover, the user has to take less number of manual operations to assemble the fan. Further, due to less number of screw mounting holes in the present false cover, number of machining operations are also less which ultimately reduces the cost of the fan
[0027] In an embodiment of the present subject matter, the guard holder nut is made bigger so that the two vertical screws to be fastened on the vertical axis of Front False Cover, can be tightened easily, without taking the power screw driver in the vicinity of Guard Holder nut.
