Abstract: The invention relates to an iron-nickel alloy having the following composition in percent by weight: 36.5% = Ni = 38.5%; 0.50% = Mn = 1.25%; 0.001% = Cu = 0.85%; 0.040% = C = 0.150%; 0.10% = Si = 0.35%, the remainder being iron and inevitable impurities resulting from the production.
