Abstract: The purpose of one or more embodiments of the present invention is to reduce pressure loss during ventilation of a pleated filter material in which crest parts and trough parts are continuously provided in an alternating manner, and the pitch of a crest part with regards to at least one surface is 5.0 mm or less. The filter material 10, according to one or more embodiments of the present invention, includes a first fiber sheet 11, which is a skeletal material layer, and a second fiber sheet 12, which is a dust collecting layer, and is characterized by having a pleated shape in which a crest part A and a trough part B are continuously alternated, a height H of the crest part A is 5-50 mm, and a pitch X of the crest part A with regards to at least one surface S1 is 0.5-5.0 mm, and by having a thickness D of the filter material 10 of 0.10-0.43 mm, and a stiffness of the filter material 10 according to the Gurley method of 1000 µN or greater.
