Abstract: This invention relates to “Fixed Bed” for holding a work piece to measure Concentricity Error of “Equipped motor torque coil” with help of Horizontal Profile Projector. This bed securely locates (position in a specific location or orientation) and supports the work, ensuring that measurement made using this fixed bed will maintain conformity and interchangeability. The most valuable function of this fixed bed is to reduce labor costs. Without this fixed bed, operating a machine or process may require two or more operators; using this fixed bed, one can suppress the labour involvement with securing the work piece. It also serves to reduce working time by allowing quick set-up, and by smoothing the transition from part to part.

Holding Fixed Bed’s primary purpose is to create a secure mounting point for a
workpiece, allowing for support during measurement and increased accuracy, precision,
reliability, and interchangeability in the finished parts.

It frequently reduces the complexity of a process, allowing for unskilled workers
to perform it and effectively transferring the skill of the tool maker to the unskilled
worker.

requirement for skilled labor by simplifying how work pieces are mounted.

Holding fixed bed helps to measures Concentricity Error of work piece with
Horizontal Profile Projector.
The concentricity error of a work piece is the distance between the center of the
two concentric circles that specify the cladding and the center of the two concentric
25 circles that specify the core diameter.
A profile projector is an optical instrument utilized for measuring. The projector
magnifies the profile of the specimen, and shows this on the built‐in projection screen.
This projection screen shows the profile of the sample and is zoomed for better ease of
30 computing linear dimensions. An edge of the sample to analyze could be aligned using
the grid on the screen. After that, basic measurements could be obtained for distances
along with other points.
With the help of this invention, concentricity error can be measured with
35 Horizontal Profile projector.

Fixtures also allow for a higher degree of operator safety by reducing the
concentration and effort required to hold a piece steady.
SUMMARY OF PRESENT 5 INVENTION
In accordance with one aspect of present invention is to provide a Holding fixed
bed that facilitates effective measuring of test piece.
In accordance with another aspect of present invention is provided to provide a
10 more rigid Holding Fixed bed to hold the workpiece.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention is to provide a fixed
bed for holding work piece adapted to be fixed on the Profile Projector for measuring.
In accordance with another aspect of present invention is to provide a lighter
Holding fixed bed for holding the workpiece.
15 In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention is to provide a fixed
bed that can be properly and effectively utilized to hold and firmly fixed the workpiece
by lesser skilled individuals.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention is to provide a fixed
bed for holding a workpiece that have supports pin to support workpiece to eliminate
20 the distortion during machining due to vibration.

Referring to fig. 1, 2 & fig. 3 present invention is a Holding fixed bed helps to measures
Concentricity Error of work piece with Horizontal Profile Projector.
The holding fixed bed (1) is designed to hold the work piece at the predefined position
10 (2). The holding bed is allowed to pass through in a slot available on the profile projector and
then tightened at the center position before commencement of measurement. Holding fixed
bed is made of mild steel of 80 mm thick, with locking groves in the bottom to fix the bed at the
required position.
15 The work piece is tightened on the one side of the bed using screw (3, 4) in such a way
that the centric position of the base plate mounting hole & torque coli is within the limit. The
slot (5) itself is engraved on the fixed bed for moving in the rail of profile projector.
Then with the help of Horizontal Profile Projector, the internal diameter of the work
20 piece as well as the outer diameter of work piece is measured.
The purpose of this measurement is to ensure that the work pieces are placed well
within the position.

1. A fixed bed for holding work piece of claim 1 to be positioned on work table of Horizontal Profile Projector.
2. The fixed bed for holding work piece of claim 1 wherein, Slot provided on the bed for movement in the projector rail while measurement at a particular plane.
3. The fixed bed for holding work piece of claim 1 wherein, one guide pin provided for accurate positioning of the work piece in predetermined position.
4. The fixed bed for holding work piece of claim 1 wherein, further comprising Allen head screw for enabling adjustment during the mounting of the work piece.
5. The fixed bed for holding work piece of claim 1 further comprising one clamp to hold the hanging portion of the work piece accurately at a predetermined.
