Floor Cleaner Composition And A Process For Preparation Thereof

Abstract: Herbal floor cleaning composition and a process for the preparation thereof is disclosed. The composition comprises 0.1-3 % by weight Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti + D13:D21c acid (Trilon M, 40%), 0.1-4 % by weight sodium bicarbonate, 0.2 - 3 % by weight Di decyl dimethyl amonium carbonate (CARBOQUAT H), 0.1-3 % by weight cocoamido propyl betaine (CAPB), 0.1-6 % by weight lauryl amine oxide (LAO), 0.5 - 6 % by weight C13 - C15 ethoxylated alcohol (LUTENSOL A08), 0.3 - 6 % by weight polyhexamethylene biguanide (VANTOCIL IB), 0.1-5 % by weight polysorbate 20 (TWEEN 20), 0.01 - 3 % by weight limonene, 0.01 - 1 % by weight mentha arvensis (MENTHA CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2 % by weight thymus vulgaris (THYMOL CRYSTAL), 0.01 - 2.2 % by weight cinnamomum camphora (CHAMPHOR CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2.5 % by weight eucalyptus globulus (EUCALYPTUS OIL) and 0.01 - 2 % by weight cymbopogon nardus (CITRONILLA OIL), 0.0008 - 0.008 % by weight of colour (Quinoline yellow (CI 47005)), 0.1-1 % by weight Fragrance, and rest being demineralized water.

Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to an herbal floor cleaning composition and a process for preparation thereof. Particularly this invention relates to a novel herbal floor cleaning composition and a process for the preparation thereof. The herbal floor cleaning composition is useful for complete cleaning of the floors of the residential as well as commercial buildings.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Floor cleaning is well known in the prior art. Traditionally floors are cleaned by using phenyl, bleach or Benzalkonium chloride. Another product for floor cleaning is known in the market by the name Lizol.
There are disadvantages associated with the conventional floor cleaning products. One of the disadvantage is that the conventional floor cleaners are corrosive in nature i.e., these products damages the skin of the user and leave it irritated.
Another disadvantage is that if one conventional cleaning product is mixed with another cleaning product it reacts with other products and releases gases like ammonia and chlorine which are toxic and dangerous to the human health.
Yet another disadvantage is that the continuous use of conventional floor cleaning produces causes respiratory problems, like asthma, to the users.
Still another disadvantage is that the conventional floor cleaning products produces gases like chlorine which are dangerous to the human health.
A further disadvantage is that conventional floor cleaning products are not ecofriendly.

OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an herbal floor cleaning composition for floor cleaning which obviates the disadvantages associated with the prior art.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a floor cleaning composition which is not corrosive and therefore, doesn't damage the skin of the user and hence no irritation causes.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an herbal floor cleaning composition which doesn't releases dangerous gases like ammonia.
Still another object of the present invention it to provide herbal floor cleaning composition which doesn't release toxic gases like chlorine and hence doesn't cause respiratory problems like asthma.
A further advantage of the present invention is to provide an herbal floor cleaning composition which is eco-friendly.
STATEMENT OF THE INVENTION
According to this invention there is provided a floor cleaning comprising 0.1-3 % by weight Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti + D13:D21c acid (Trilon M, 40%), 0.1-4 % by weight sodium bicarbonate, 0.2 - 3 % by weight Di decyl dimethyl amonium carbonate (CARBOQUAT H), 0.1-3 % by weight cocoamido propyl betaine (CAPB), 0.1 -6 % by weight lauryl amine oxide (LAO), 0.5-6 % by weight C13 - C15 ethoxylated alcohol (LUTENSOL A08), 0.3 - 6 % by weight polyhexamethylene biguanide (VANTOCIL IB), 0.1 - 5 % by weight polysorbate 20 (TWEEN 20), 0.01 -3 % by weight limonene, 0.01 -1 % by weight mentha arvensis

(MENTHA CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2 % by weight thymus vulgaris (THYMOL CRYSTAL), 0.01 - 2.2 % by weight cinnamomum camphora (CHAMPHOR CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2.5 % by weight eucalyptus globulus (EUCALYPTUS OIL) and 0.01 - 2 % by weight cymbopogon nardus (CITRONILLA OIL), 0.0008 - 0.008 % by weight of colour (Quinoline yellow (CI 47005)), 0.1-1 % by weight Fragrance, and rest being demineralized water.
Further according to this invention there is provided a process for the preparation of a floor cleaning composition comprising;
a. Adding required quantity of Di-Mineralized water into main tank and 0.1
- 4 % by weight Sodium bicarbonate is added in the main tank under
continue stirring till dissolution of Sodium bicarbonate,
b. Adding 0.1-3 % by weight Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti +
D13:D21cacid (TrilonM, 40%) under continuous stirring in the main tank
till Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti is dissolved.
c. Adding 0.1-3 % by weight cocoamido propyl betaine (CAPB), 0.1-6
% by weight lauryl amine oxide (LAO), 0.2 - 3 % by weight Di decyl
dimethyl amonium carbonate (CARBOQUAT H), and 0.3 -6 % by weight
polyhexamethylene biguanide (VANTOCIL IB), one by one, in the main
mixer tank under continuous stirring at a speed of 300 - 800 rpm till a
homogenized solution is obtained.
d. Adding a premix blend of 0.01 - 3 % by weight limonene, 0.01 -1 % by
weight mentha arvensis (MENTHA CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2 % by weight
thymus vulgaris (THYMOL CRYSTAL), 0.01 - 2.2 % by weight
cinnamomum camphora (CHAMPHOR CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2.5 % by
weight eucalyptus globulus (EUCALYPTUS OIL) and 0.01 - 2 % by

weight cymbopogon nardus (CITRONILLA OIL), in the main mixer tank under continuous stirring.
e. Adding 0.1 kg Fragrance with 0.1 kg weight polysorbate 20 in the main
mixer under continuous stirring till a homogenous solution is obtained.
f. Dissolving 0.0008 - 0.008 % by weight colour (Quinoline yellow (CI
47005)) powder in 0.5 - 6 % by weight C13 - C15 ethoxylated alcohol
(LUTENSOL A08) and filtering the same through a mesh filter cloth of
100 - 300 size under continue stirring and sufficient quantity of DM water
is added therein.
g. Adding the above mixture in the main tank under continuous stirring for
a period of 15 -20 minutes to obtain a homogenous solution.
h. Filtering the solution, so obtained, and returning the filtrate in the manufacturing vessel till the clear filtrate of the product is obtained.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Herbal floor cleaning composition according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is herein described in the following description and illustrated in the accompanying examples.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Herbal floor cleaning composition and a process for the preparation thereof is herein described with numerous specific details so as to provide a complete understanding of the invention. However, these specific details are exemplary details and should not be treated as the limitation to the scope of the invention. Throughout this specification the word "comprise" or variations such as "comprises or comprising", will be understood to imply the inclusions of a stated element,

integer or step, or group of elements, integers or steps, but not the exclusions of any other element, integer or step or group of elements, integers or steps.
According to this invention the herbal floor cleaning composition comprises 0.1-3 % by weight Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti + D13:D21cacid (Trilon M, 40%), 0.1-4 % by weight sodium bicarbonate, 0.2 - 3 % by weight Di decyl dimethyl amonium carbonate (CARBOQUAT H), 0.1-3 % by weight cocoamido propyl betaine (CAPB), 0.1 -6 % by weight lauryl amine oxide (LAO), 0.5-6 % by weight C13 - C15 ethoxylated alcohol (LUTENSOL A08), 0.3 - 6 % by weight polyhexamethylene biguanide (VANTOCIL IB), 0.1 - 5 % by weight polysorbate 20 (TWEEN 20), 0.01 -3 % by weight limonene, 0.01 -1 % by weight mentha arvensis (MENTHA CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2 % by weight thymus vulgaris (THYMOL CRYSTAL), 0.01 - 2.2 % by weight cinnamomum camphora (CHAMPHOR CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2.5 % by weight eucalyptus globulus (EUCALYPTUS OIL) and 0.01 - 2 % by weight cymbopogon nardus (CITRONILLA OIL), 0.0008 - 0.008 % by weight of colour (Quinoline yellow (CI 47005)), 0.1-1 % by weight Fragrance, and rest being demineralized water.
According to the present invention the process for the preparation of the herbal floor cleaning composition comprises;
a. Required quantity of Di-Mineralized water is taken into main tank and 0.1 -
4 % by weight Sodium bicarbonate is added in the main tank under continue
stirring at a speed of 300 - 800 rpm until its dissolution,
b. 0.1-3 % by weight Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti + D13:D21c acid
(Trilon M, 40%) under continuous stirring is added in the main tank till Tri
sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti is dissolved.

c. 0.1-3 % by weight cocoamido propyl betaine (CAPB), 0.1-6 % by weight
lauryl amine oxide (LAO), 0.2 - 3 % by weight Di decyl dimethyl amonium
carbonate (CARBOQUAT H), and 0.3 - 6 % by weight polyhexamethylene
biguanide (VANTOCIL IB) are then added, one by one, into main mixer tank
under continuous stirring at a speed of 300 - 800 rpm till a homogenized
solution is obtained.
d. Premix blend of 0.01 -3 % by weight limonene, 0.01 -1 % by weight mentha
arvensis (MENTHA CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2 % by weight thymus vulgaris
(THYMOL CRYSTAL), 0.01 - 2.2 % by weight cinnamomum camphora
(CHAMPHOR CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2.5 % by weight eucalyptus globulus
(EUCALYPTUS OIL) and 0.01 - 2 % by weight cymbopogon nardus
(CITRONILLA OIL) is added in the main mixer tank under continuous stirring.
e. 0.1 kg Fragrance with 0.1 kg weight polysorbate 20 is then added in the main
mixer under continuous stirring till a homogenous solution is obtained.
f. 0.0008 - 0.008 % by weight colour (Quinoline yellow (CI 47005)) powder is
dissolved in 0.5 - 6 % by weight C13 - C15 ethoxylated alcohol (LUTENSOL
A08) and filtered through a mesh filter cloth of 100 - 300 size under continue
stirring and sufficient quantity of DM water is added therein.
g. The mixture so obtained is added in the main tank under continuous stirring
for a period of 15 - 20 minutes to obtain a homogenous solution.
h. The solution so obtained is then filtered through sparkler filter and the filtrate is returned to the manufacturing vessel till the clear filtrate is obtained.
i. The product so obtained is checked for QC and it is passes the test parameter then is filled in the designated bottles for sale in the market.

Example -1
a. Desired quantity of Di-Mineralized water is taken into main tank and 0.1 kg
Sodium bicarbonate is added in the main tank under continue stirring at a
speed of 300 - 800 rpm until its dissolution,
b. 0.1 kg Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti + D13:D21c acid (Trilon M, 40%)
under continuous stirring till it is dissolved,
c. 0.1 kg cocoamido propyl betaine (CAPB), 0.1 kg lauryl amine oxide (LAO),
0.2 kg Di-decyl dimethyl amonium carbonate (CARBOQUAT H), and 0.3 kg
polyhexamethylene biguanide (VANTOCIL IB) is then added, one by one,
into main mixer tank under continuous stirring at a speed of 300 - 800 rpm
till a homogenized solution is obtained,
d. 0.01 kg limonene, 0.01 kg mentha arvensis (MENTHA CRYSTALS), 0.01 kg
thymus vulgaris (THYMOL CRYSTAL), 0.01 kg cinnamomum camphora
(CHAMPHOR CRYSTALS), 0.01 kg eucalyptus globulus (EUCALYPTUS
OIL) and 0.01 kg cymbopogon nardus (CITRONILLA OIL) are mixed with
each other and the premixed blend is added in the main mixer tank under
continuous stirring.
e. 0.1 kg Fragrance with 0.1 kg polysorbate 20 is then added in the main mixer
under continuous stirring till a homogenous solution is obtained,
f. 0.0008 kg colour (Quinoline yellow (CI 47005)) powder is dissolved in 0.5 kg
C13 - C15 ethoxylated alcohol (LUTENSOL A08) and filtered through a
mesh filter cloth of 100 - 300 size under continue stirring and sufficient
quantity of DM water is added therein.
g. The mixture so obtained is added in the main tank under continuous stirring
for a period of 15 - 20 minutes to obtain a homogenous solution.

h. The solution so obtained is then filtered through sparkler filter and the filtrate is returned to the manufacturing vessel till the clear filtrate is obtained.
i. The product so obtained is checked for QC and if it is passes the test parameter then is filled in the designated bottles for sale in the market.
Example - 2
a. Desired quantity of Di-Mineralized water is taken into main tank and 4 kg
Sodium bicarbonate is added in the main tank under continue stirring at a
speed of 300 - 800 rpm until its dissolution,
b. 3 kg Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti + D13:D21c acid (Trilon M, 40%)
under continuous stirring till it is dissolved,
c. 3 kg cocoamido propyl betaine (CAPB), 6 kg lauryl amine oxide (LAO), 3 kg
Di-decyl dimethyl amonium carbonate (CARBOQUAT H), and 6 kg
polyhexamethylene biguanide (VANTOCIL IB) is then added, one by one,
into main mixer tank under continuous stirring at a speed of 300 - 800 rpm
till a homogenized solution is obtained,
d. 3 kg limonene, 1 kg mentha arvensis (MENTHA CRYSTALS), 2 kg thymus
vulgaris (THYMOL CRYSTAL), 2.2 kg cinnamomum camphora
(CHAMPHOR CRYSTALS), 2.5 kg eucalyptus globulus (EUCALYPTUS
OIL) and 2 kg cymbopogon nardus (CITRONILLA OIL) are mixed with each
other and the premixed blend is added in the main mixer tank under
continuous stirring.
e. 1 kg Fragrance with 5 kg polysorbate 20 is then added in the main mixer
under continuous stirring till a homogenous solution is obtained,
f. 0.008 kg colour (Quinoline yellow (CI 47005)) powder is dissolved in 6 kg
C13 - C15 ethoxylated alcohol (LUTENSOL A08) and filtered through a

mesh filter cloth of 100 - 300 size under continue stirring and sufficient
quantity of DM water is added therein, g. The mixture so obtained is added in the main tank under continuous stirring
for a period of 15 - 20 minutes to obtain a homogenous solution, h. The solution so obtained is then filtered through sparkler filter and the filtrate
is returned to the manufacturing vessel till the clear filtrate is obtained, i. The product so obtained is checked for QC and if it is passes the test
parameter then is filled in the designated bottles for sale in the market.
Certain features of the invention have been described with reference to the example embodiments. However, the description is not intended to be construed in a limiting sense. Various modifications of the example embodiments as well as other embodiments of the invention, which are apparent to the persons skilled in the art to which the invention pertains, are deemed to lie within the spirit and scope of the invention.

We claim:
1. Herbal floor cleaning composition comprising 0.1-3 % by weight Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti + D13:D21c acid (Trilon M, 40%), 0.1-4 % by weight sodium bicarbonate, 0.2 - 3 % by weight Di decyl dimethyl amonium carbonate (CARBOQUAT H), 0.1 -3 % by weight cocoamido propyl betaine (CAPB), 0.1 -6 % by weight lauryl amine oxide (LAO), 0.5-6 % by weight C13 - C15 ethoxylated alcohol (LUTENSOL A08), 0.3 - 6 % by weight polyhexamethylene biguanide (VANTOCIL IB), 0.1 - 5 % by weight polysorbate 20 (TWEEN 20), 0.01 - 3 % by weight limonene, 0.01 -1 % by weight mentha arvensis (MENTHA CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2 % by weight thymus vulgaris (THYMOL CRYSTAL), 0.01 - 2.2 % by weight cinnamomum camphora (CHAMPHOR CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2.5 % by weight eucalyptus globulus (EUCALYPTUS OIL) and 0.01-2 % by weight cymbopogon nardus (CITRONILLA OIL), 0.0008 - 0.008 % by weight of colour (Quinoline yellow (CI 47005)), 0.1-1 % by weight Fragrance, and rest being demineralized water.
2. A process for the preparation of the herbal floor cleaning composition comprising;
a. Adding required quantity of Di-Mineralized water into main tank and 0.1
- 4 % by weight Sodium bicarbonate is added in the main tank under
continue stirring till dissolution of Sodium bicarbonate,
b. Adding 0.1-3 % by weight Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti +
D13:D21cacid (Trilon M, 40%) under continuous stirring in the main tank
till Tri sodium salt Methyl glycine diaceti is dissolved.

c. Adding 0.1-3 % by weight cocoamido propyl betaine (CAPB), 0.1-6
% by weight lauryl amine oxide (LAO), 0.2 - 3 % by weight Di decyl
dimethyl amonium carbonate (CARBOQUAT H), and 0.3 -6 % by weight
polyhexamethylene biguanide (VANTOCIL IB), one by one, in the main
mixer tank under continuous stirring at a speed of 300 - 800 rpm till a
homogenized solution is obtained.
d. Adding a premix blend of 0.01 - 3 % by weight limonene, 0.01 -1 % by
weight mentha arvensis (MENTHA CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2 % by weight
thymus vulgaris (THYMOL CRYSTAL), 0.01 - 2.2 % by weight
cinnamomum camphora (CHAMPHOR CRYSTALS), 0.01 - 2.5 % by
weight eucalyptus globulus (EUCALYPTUS OIL) and 0.01 - 2 % by
weight cymbopogon nardus (CITRONILLA OIL), in the main mixer tank
under continuous stirring.
e. Adding 0.1 kg Fragrance with 0.1 kg weight polysorbate 20 in the main
mixer under continuous stirring till a homogenous solution is obtained.
f. Dissolving 0.0008 - 0.008 % by weight colour (Quinoline yellow (CI
47005)) powder in 0.5 - 6 % by weight C13 - C15 ethoxylated alcohol
(LUTENSOL A08) and filtering the same through a mesh filter cloth of
100 - 300 size under continue stirring and sufficient quantity of DM water
is added therein.
g. Adding the above mixture in the main tank under continuous stirring for
a period of 15 -20 minutes to obtain a homogenous solution.
h. Filtering the solution, so obtained, and returning the filtrate in the manufacturing vessel till the clear filtrate of the product is obtained.

3. The process for the preparation of the herbal floor cleaning composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein the step of stirring is carried out at a speed of 300 - 800.
4. The process for the preparation of the herbal floor cleaning composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein the step of filtering is done through a sparkler filter.
