Specification

DESC:BACKGROUND
[0001] Unless otherwise indicated herein, the materials described in this section are not prior art to this application and are not admitted to being prior art by inclusion in this section.
Field of invention:
[0002] The subject matter in general relates to the field of raw food purification. More particularly, but not exclusively, the subject matter relates to a method for detoxifying raw food materials from harmful elements using hybrid inputs.
Discussion of related art:
[0003] Raw food refers to food that is uncooked and unprocessed. Raw food may include fruits, vegetables, egg, fish, nuts, dairy products, and the like. Food purifiers are typically used to filter, separate, break-down elements such as pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, pathogens and the like from raw foods. These elements are harmful for human health. Ozone may be considered as an effective disinfectant for purification of food/raw food. Ozone may also be referred to as activated oxygen and contains three oxygen atoms.
[0004] Conventionally, processes such as chlorination is used for detoxification of the food. However, chlorine is harmful to the environment and may affect the human respiratory system and may have adverse effects on the throat if inhaled. Also, conventional food purifiers only use ozonation for detoxifying raw food. Limiting to only ozonation does not give desirable, scientific, and highly precise contamination free raw food.
[0005] In view of the foregoing discussion, there is a need for an improved process to filter out multiple harmful elements from the raw food.
SUMMARY
[0006] In one embodiment, a method for detoxification of raw food from harmful elements is disclosed. Harmful elements may include, but not limited to, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, bacteria, pathogens and the like. The method includes inducing the raw food materials with one or more hybrid inputs. The one or more hybrid inputs may include ozone, ultraviolet (UV), selective ultrasound (US), and pulsed currents. UV rays is incident on the raw food material, where the UV may act as a bacterial and viral sterilizer. Pulsed currents are provided to fluid medium within which the raw food materials are immersed in, for eliminating pathogens. High frequencies are induced on the raw food materials using the selective US for eliminating harmful elements and reducing adhesive forces between the raw food surfaces.
