, Description:Field of Invention:
The present embodiment relates to footwear, and more particularly to feet-comforting shoes with provision to dip or submerge feet in cold or hot water as desired by a user.
Background of Invention:
Conventional shoes are protective devices worn to prevent the feet from any damage, injury or wound. However, the traditional shoes don’t provide a good comfort as is desired at times. The feet are usually comforted by dipping them in hot or cold water after work at the end of the day or at times by massage or acupressure-based massage. This certainly requires a user to either go to a massage establishment for comforting their feet by dipping them in water a tub or vessel, which, in turn, requires a lot of work, and effort in filling a vessel with hot or cold water, and then move it to a comfortable zone. It hinders the user from moving to any other locations during the time and stops the other household activities for the user.
Accordingly, there is a need to have footwear, especially a shoe that allows comforting as desired by the user.
Summary of Invention:
In an aspect, a shoe for providing comfort to feet of a user is provided. The shoe includes: a foldable funnel to receive water; a water reservoir at the bottom of the shoe to store the water received through the foldable funnel; a number of nozzles positioned inside of the shoe to shower the feet of the user with water; and a pump to draw the water from the reservoir to inside of the shoe through the plurality of nozzles.
The shoe further includes: a communication circuit to communicate with the user’s mobile phone; a pump circuit to operate the pump, a battery and a charging point. The communication circuit; the pump circuit to operate the pump, the battery and the charging point are positioned vertically in the rear of the shoe.
The water reservoir further includes a first compartment that receives water from the funnel and is positioned at the front of the shoe and a second compartment that receives water from the first compartment and is positioned at the rear of the shoe; and the second compartment is connected to the pump.
The first compartment further includes a plurality of non-return ball valves to stop water flow from reservoir back into the foot placing inner region and a water filter channel to filter water coming from the inlet. The second compartment further includes a plurality of filter channels, a water filter channel with an arrangement of a flip valve to avoid water flowing back from the second compartment of the reservoir to the first compartment ensuring sufficient water availability to the pump for suction and heating coils to heat the water.
The shoe further includes a piping arrangement positioned between foot placing inner region of the shoe and the reservoir which is sandwiched between a lower pad and an upper pad; the lower pad is removably attached to the reservoir and the upper pad receives the acupuncture pad in the foot placing inner region of the shoe.

As mentioned, there remains a need for a comforting shoe, the embodiment herein provide a shoe having a reservoir to store water and pump the water inside the shoe from the reservoir when desired.
Fig. 1 illustrates a front perspective view of a shoe, according to an embodiment herein. The front perspective view 100 of the shoe illustrates a shoe having an airtight zip 102, a funnel zip 104, a foldable funnel 106 and a reservoir 108. The airtight zip 102 securely fits the shoe on to the feet of a user such that no water spillage to the surrounding occurs outside the shoe when water flow or shower is in process. In one embodiment, the airtight zip extends until ankle of the foot of the user. In a preferred embodiment, the airtight zip extends until shin or lower leg of the user is fully covered by the shoe. The reservoir 108 stores the water and receives it via the foldable funnel 106 that is unzipped from the toe of the shoe and arranged to receive the water.
Fig. 2 illustrates a rear perspective view 200of the shoe of Fig. 1, according to an embodiment herein. The shoe, as shown in the rear perspective view 200, includes a communication circuit 202, a pump circuit 204, a battery compartment 206, a AC charging point 208, a pump 210, a upper-pad 212, a lower pad 214 and the reservoir 108. The communication circuit 202, the pump circuit 204, the battery compartment 206, the AC charging point 208 and the pump 210 are arranged along the shaft or quarter of the shoe. In a preferred embodiment, the communication circuit 202 is positioned above the pump circuit 204. The battery compartment 206 is placed below the pump circuit 204 and the charging point is provided between the battery compartment 206 and the pump 210. In an embodiment, all these components, 202-210 may be arranged in a modular fashion and removably attached to a shoe. The shoe further includes the reservoir108 bound by the upper pad 212 at its top end and the lower pad 214 at its bottom end. The communication circuit 202may communicate to the users’ mobile phone application, which may control the speed of shower, the temperature of the heater and pattern of the shower as required. The pump circuit 204 controls and actuates the pump 210 as communicated by the communication circuit 202 through the user’s mobile phone. The shoe may be connected to the mobile phone either through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The battery compartment 206 houses a 12V DC battery that enables the shoe to work without plugging into supply, enabling the user to walk wearing the shoe anywhere.
Fig. 3 illustrates an exploded view of the foot placing inner region or the sole of the shoe of Fig. 1, according to an embodiment herein. Fig. 3, in particular, illustrates shower, drain and acupressure pad arrangement in the inside of the shoe that receives the feet and also forms the upper bound of the reservoir 108. The inside of the shoe includes a number of rear foot nozzles 302, a number of side foot nozzles 304, a number of front foot nozzles 306, an inlet tube 308, a number of water drain holes 310 and a number of acupressure pads 312.
The pump 210 fitted in the rear of the shoe pumps water from the reservoir 108 beneath and fills the inside of the shoe via the number of rear foot 302, front foot 306 and side foot 304 nozzles. In an embodiment, the nozzles are provided to deliver water at variable pressure and the user may determine the pressure as desired. The acupressure pads 312 further supplement the inside of the shoe to provide comfort to the user. The water drain holes 310 allow the water to be drained from the shoe after use back to the first compartment 506 of the reservoir108.
Fig. 4 illustrated an exploded split view of accommodated pad couple of the shoe as depicted in Fig. 3, according to an embodiment herein. The accommodated pad couple includes the upper pad212 and the lower pad 214 and encloses the piping arrangement 402 for the shoe. The lower pad includes the piping accommodating channels 404 to receive and fit the piping arrangement 402 from the reservoir 108. The lower pad 214 is attached to the reservoir 108 removably.
Fig. 5 illustrates the reservoir 108 of the shoe of Fig. 1 according to an embodiment herein. The reservoir 108 includes two compartments, first compartment 506 and second compartment 508 at the front and the rear of the shoe respectively. The first compartment is connected to the water inlet pipe 502accommodating a filter channel 504. The first compartment 506includes a number of non-return ball valves 514 to stop water flow from the reservoir 108 back into the foot placing inner region. The entry to the second compartment 508 of the reservoir 108 is protected by a non-return flip valve 516 that allows the water to pass only from first compartment506 to second compartment 508ensuring adequate water for the pump’s suction pipe 210 for suction. The second compartment 508 includes a set of heating coils 510 that allows the user to heat the water. In a preferred embodiment, the maximum heating temperature is 350C. The second compartment 508 further includes a number of filter channels518.
