Abstract: The new pattern four stroke petrol engine functions under, the toothed wheel fitted with : crank shaft and cam shaft in the ratio of 1:4 that is through the timing chain, when the crank shaft makes 4 times rotation, while the cam shaft makes one rotation. Therefore if the crank shaft rotates 180° then the cam shaft rotates 45°. On the head of the engine cam-1, cam-2, cam-3 and cam-4 have been fitted with cam shafts and also shafts that contain four valves which are named as valve-1, valve-2, valve-3 and valve-4. Among these valves, when the valve-1 or valve-3 being to open, the mixture of petrol air will enter into the engine form the carburetor. When the valve-2 or valve-4 .opens, the smoke cornea out of the engine and enter in to the exhaust pipe. Cam-l(from 0°to 45°) that fits with the cam shaft, this make to open the valve -1; when cam-2 (from 136°tol80°) that fits with the cam shaft, this make to open the valve-2; cam- 3 (from i81°to225°) that fits with the cam shaft, this make to open valve-3; and when cam-4(from316°to360°) that fits with the cam shaft, that make to open the valve-4. When Piston from the Top Dead Centre (TDC) begins to reach the Bottom Dead Centre (BDC) then the crank shaft makes rotation from zero degree (0°). Likewise, the cam-1 begins to open the valve-1 at zero degree (0°). If increase the width of the cams one degree front side, then the valves of the cams will be opened four degree in advance. Likewise If increase the width of the cams one degree in back side then the valves of the cams will be closed four degree later. So we can change the width of the cams as per ourselves, When the four stroke petrol engine runs from Stroke one to stroke four, then the valve-1 and valve-2 as well as when the stroke repeated from one to four then the valve-3 and valve-4 will be activate in alternatively. This new patterned four stroke petrol engine is applicable for motor cycle, scooter, car and boat.
DESCRIPTION
The new pattern four stroke petrol engine functions under, the toothed wheel fitted with crank shaft and cam shaft. Number of tooth in cam shaft is four times more than number of tooth in crank shaft that is through the timing chain, when the crank shaft makes 4 times rotation, while the cam shaft makes one rotation. Likewise, Rocker arm-1, Rocker arm-2, Rocker arm-3 and also have been fitted on the head of the engine.
Among these valves, when the valve-1 or valve-3 being to open, the mixture of petrol air will enter into the engine form the carburetor. When the valve-2 or valve-4 opens, the smoke comes out of the engine and enter in to the exhaust pipe.
Cam-1 (from 0°to 45°) that fits with the cam shaft, this make to open the valve -1 through rocker arm - 1. when cam-2 (from 136°tol80°) that fits with the cam shaft, this make to open the valve-2 through rocker arm - 2. cam- 3 (from 181°to225°) that fits with the cam shaft, this make to open valve-3through rocker arm - 3. and when cam- 4(from316°to360°) that fits with the cam shaft, that make to open the valve-4 through rocker arm - 4.
When Piston from the Top Dead Centre (TDC) begins to reach the Bottom Dead Centre (BDC) then the crank shaft makes rotation from zero degree (0°). Likewise, the cam-1 begins to open the valve-1 at zero degree (0°).
Stroke-1: During the crank shaft makes rotations, that pulls the piston from TDC to BDC, when cam shaft rotates from 0°to45°. That cam-1 pushes to open the valve-1 through rocker arm-1 it sucks or brings the petrol air mixture into the engine.
Stroke-2: When the Piston moves from BDC to TDC, the cam shaft rotates from46°to90°. This phenomenon (action) is called Compressor stroke.
Stroke-3: When the Piston moves from TDC to BDC, the cam shaft rotates from 91°tol35°. This phenomenon (action) is called Power Stroke.
Stroke-4: When the Piston moves from BDC to TDC, and then cam shaft rotates from 136°tol80°. While cam-2 pushes to opens the valve-2 through rocker arm-2 it send smoke goes out from the engine.
Stroke-1 repeat: During the crank shaft makes rotations, that pulls the Piston from TDC to BDC, when cam shaft rotates from 181°to225°. That cam-3 through rocker arm - 3 it pushes to open the valve-3 through rocker arm-3 it sucks or brings the petrol air mixture into the engine.
Stroke-2repeat: When Piston moves from BDC to TDC, the cam shaft rotates from 226°to270°. This phenomenon (action) is called Compressor stroke.
Stroke-3repeat: When the Piston moves from TDC to BDC, the cam shaft rotates from 271°to315°. This phenomenon (action) is called Power Stroke.
Stroke-4 repeat: When Piston moves from BDC to TDC, the cam shaft rotates from 316°to360°. While cam-4 through rocker arm - 4 it pushes to opens the valve-4 through rocker arm-4 it send smoke goes out from the engine.
If increase the width of the cams one degree front side, then the valves of the cams will be opened four degree in advance. Likewise if increase the width of the cams one degree in back side then the valves of the cams will be closed four degree later. So we can change the width of the cams as per ourselves. We can produce this engine from low cubic capacity (CC) to high cubic capacity as we want.
When the four stroke petrol engine runs from Stroke one to stroke four, then the valve-1 and valve-2 as well as when the stroke repeated from one to four then the valve-3 and valve-4 will be activate in alternatively. This new patterned four stroke petrol engine is applicable for motor cycle, scooter, Auto, car and boat.
CLAIMS
I Claims,
The new pattern four stroke petrol engine functions under, the toothed wheel fitted with crank shaft and cam shaft in the ratio of 1:4 that is through the timing chain, when the crank shaft makes 4 times rotation, while the cam shaft makes one rotation.
On the head of the engine cam-1, cam-2, cam-3 and cam-4 have been fitted with cam shafts and also shafts that contain four valves which are named as valve-1, valve-2, valve-3 and valve-4. Likewise, Rocker arm-1, Rocker arm-2, Rocker arm-3 and also have been fitted on the head of the engine.
Among these valves, when the valve-1 or valve-3 being to open, the mixture of petrol air will enter into the engine form the carburetor.
When the valve-2 or valve-4 opens, the smoke comes out of the engine and enters in to the exhaust pipe.
Cam-l(from 0°to 45°) that fits with the cam shaft, this make to open the valve -lthrough rocker arm-1.
When cam-2 (from 136°tol80°) that fits with the cam shaft, this make to open the valve-2 through rocker arm-2.
Cam- 3 (from 181°to225°) that fits with the cam shaft, this make to open valve-3 through rocker arm-3.
When cam- 4(from3 16° to 360°) that fits with the cam shaft, that make to open the valve-4 through rocker arm-4.
If increase the width of the cams one degree front side, then the valves of the cams will be opened four degree in advance. Likewise if increase the width of the cams one degree in back side then the valves of the cams will be closed four degree later.
10. When the four stroke petrol engine runs from Stroke one to stroke four, then the valve-1 and valve-2 as well as when the stroke repeated from one to four then the valve-3 and valve-4 will be activate in alternatively.
