Abstract: The present invention relates to a frame arrangement [102] for a lightweight berth assembly [100] of a train. The frame arrangement [102] comprises a frame unit [104] and one or more reinforcement units [108]. The frame unit [104] includes one or more reinforcement receiving cavities [106] within which the one or more reinforcement units [108] are fixed. The frame arrangement [102] is such that the frame unit [104] is made of a metal, and the one or more reinforcement units [108] are made of a plastic material. Fig. 2
