Abstract: Motor vehicles have a front structure/module boltable to provide better access for engine compartment fitments, cooling module variety complexity management and reduce slow speed crash damages and easy repair or replacement of full assembly and for easy front facelift or new version introduction keeping basic structure common. It is desirable to have front structure/module that provides sufficient strength for towing (pulling) & carry the weight of radiator, condenser etc, but does not hamper energy absorption by the front end structure during frontal impact. The Front end module for vehicle according to this invention is boltable making it possible to have easy access for fitment of engine compartment. Assembly of components are also easy. It is made completely in Sheet metal with modular design to handle version complexity & reduce weight/cost.

PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification describes the invention.
FIELD OF INVENTION
The invention relates to vehicle assembly and more particularly it relates to front end module for vehicle which is bolt able front end assembly for vehicle connected to front structure of a vehicle.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Motor vehicles have a front structure/module bolt able to provide better access
for engine compartment fitments, better engine/cooling module variety
complexity management, and reduce slow speed crash damages & easy
repair/replacement of full assembly & for easy front facelift or new version
introduction keeping basic structure common.
The said front structure/module assembly should have enough strength so that
it can withstand the load for tow application, weight of radiator, condenser,
wiring harness etc. but at the same time the front end of the motor vehicle is
also intended and built in such a way that it should collapse in prescribed
manner to absorb energy during frontal impact.
The above requirements are conflicting in nature.
It is desirable to have front structure/module should provides sufficient
strength for towing (pulling) & carry weight of radiator, condenser etc, but
does not hamper energy absorption by the front end structure during frontal
impact.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the present invention is to provide Front end module for
vehicle.
Another object of the present invention is to provide Front end module for
vehicle which is a bolt able front end structure/module assembly made up of
sheet metal for a vehicle.
Another object of the present invention is to provide front end module for
vehicle which provides better access for fitment of engine compartment.
Another object of the present invention is to provide front end module for
vehicle which provides better engine/cooling module variety complexity
management.
Another object of the present invention is to provide front end module for
vehicle which provides for easy front facelift or new version introduction
keeping basic structure common.
Yet another object of the present invention is provide front end module for
vehicle which reduces slow speed crash damages and facilitates easy
repair/replacement of full assembly.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
Front end module assembly comprises ; first Assembly radiator frame (18) a welded sub assembly comprises; top radiator support member(l) , vertical radiator support member (2), left side crash box plate (3), right side crash box plate(4), left side crash box assembly (5), right side crash box assembly (6), front bumper rear cross member (7), front bumper front cross member (8), reinforcement hood latch mounting(9), left side top radiator mounting bracket( 10),right side top radiator mounting bracket (11), external reinforcement hood latch (17) , second bottom radiator support assembly member (19) also a welded sub assembly comprises; left side bottom radiator mounting bracket (12), right side bottom radiator mounting bracket (13), bottom radiator support member (14), bumper mounting inner bracket (15), reinforcement latch external mounting bracket (16), both said subassemblies are attached together by nut & bolts after fitment of radiator, condenser, wiring harness, horns, hood latch etc.
By altering left side top radiator mounting bracket(10), right side top radiator mounting bracket (11) and external reinforcement hood latch (17) from first Assembly radiator frame (18) subassembly and left side bottom radiator mounting bracket (12) , right side bottom radiator mounting bracket (13) , bottom radiator support member (14) and reinforcement latch external mounting bracket (16) from second bottom radiator support assembly member
(19) for getting different versions of front end structure/module for different engines, requiring different cooling module. Thus the major structural member of assembly remains same, major assembly/welding fixtures also remains same.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
Referring now to the drawings wherein the showings are for the purpose of illustrating a preferred embodiment of the invention only, and not for the purpose of limiting the same,
Figure- 1 shows isometric view the frontal crash assembly Figure- 2 shows exploded isometric view of the front end module assembly Figure- 3 shows isometric view of the parts of front end module. Front end module assembly comprises ; first Assembly radiator frame a welded sub assembly comprises; top radiator support member(l) , vertical radiator support member (2), left side crash box plate (3), right side crash box plate(4), left side crash box assembly (5), right side crash box assembly (6), front bumper rear cross member (7), front bumper front cross member (8), reinforcement hood latch mounting(9), left side top radiator mounting bracket (10),right side top radiator mounting bracket (11), external reinforcement hood latch (17) , second bottom radiator support assembly member also a welded sub assembly comprises; left side bottom radiator mounting bracket (12), right side bottom radiator mounting bracket (13) , bottom radiator support member (14), bumper mounting inner bracket (15), reinforcement latch external mounting bracket (16), both said subassemblies are attached together by nut & bolts after fitment of radiator, condenser, wiring harness, horns, hood latch etc.
By altering left side top radiator mounting bracket( 10),right side top radiator mounting bracket (11) and external reinforcement hood latch (17) from first Assembly radiator frame subassembly and left side bottom radiator mounting bracket (12), right side bottom radiator mounting bracket (13), bottom radiator
support member (14) and reinforcement latch external mounting bracket (16) from second Assembly member radiator support bottom for getting different versions of front end structure/module for different engines, requiring different cooling module. Thus the major structural member of assembly remains same, major assembly/welding fixtures also remains same.
Front end module for vehicle which is Bolt able Front end assembly for vehicle connected to front structure of a vehicle and designed completely in Sheet metal with modular design to handle version complexity & reduce weight/cost.
