Abstract: Present invention provides a front cover for a frame of a motorcycle. Front cover has specific grooved structure configured to hold front wiring cables, rearward extended profile configured to cover a secondary air injection unit of an internal combustion engine and its external aerodynamic shape configured to deflect approaching air towards internal combustion engine. Mentioned engine is fixed with atleast one bracket such that front cover is covering front right side and front left side of frame and forming a partially closed structure on front and upper side of front cover. Front frame cover is secured between a frame head tube and a frame down tube.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention generally relates to frame of a motor cycle and more particularly to a front cover for said frame used for enclosing front portion of the frame.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Generally, in motorcycles engine and the fuel tank mounted on the frame. The vehicle has many wiring harnesses passes through front part of the vehicle which is partially covered by fuel tank which leads to safety issue due to exposure of wiring system and to the durability issues of wiring harness as it comes in constant contact with frame.
Further, secondary air injection unit of the engine supplies air/oxygen to the engine for fuel combustion and as said secondary air injection unit is open to atmosphere which causes in air impurity leading to fuel impurity and improper combustion of fuel which reduces the efficiency of the engine. Accordingly, the present invention provides a simple and durable solution for the above described issue.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Main objective of the present invention is to provide a front cover for a frame of a motorcycle. Said cover has grooved structure configured to hold front wiring cables, rearward extended profile configured to cover a secondary air injection unit of an internal combustion engine of said motorcycle resulting in reduction in addition of external elements in the fuel and specific external aerodynamic shape configured to deflect approaching air towards said internal combustion engine. Mentioned cover is fixed with atleast one bracket such that said front cover is covering front right side and front left side of said frame and forming a partially closed structure on front and upper side of said front cover and said front frame cover is secured between a frame head tube and a frame down tube.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The present invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description given herein below and the accompanying drawing which is incorporated in and constitute embodiments of the invention, illustrate several aspects of the invention and together with a description of the embodiments serve to explain the principles of the invention and thus, are not limited of the present invention and a brief description of the drawing is as follows:
Figure 1 is depicting a side view of the arrangement of embodiments.
Figure 2 is showing a detailed mounting arrangement of the invention.
Figure 3 is depicting enabling arrangement of the embodiment of the invention.
Figure 4 is describing details of the essential embodiments of the invention.
Figure 5 is showing utility of the claimed invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The embodiments disclosed below are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed in the following detailed description. Rather, the embodiments are chosen and described for enablement purpose of the invention. The invention may have application to all types of vehicles. The scope of the invention is entirely based upon the claims provided.
Reference is made to Figure 1 for description of the arrangement and embodiments of the claimed invention in the motorcycle. As shown in Figure 1, frame front cover 103 is secured between the head pipe 100 and the fuel tank 101 such that it is covering front side of lower frame pipe 102 partially.
Further, mounting arrangement of said front frame cover 103 is shown in Figure 2 where said frame cover 103 is secured over the cover mounting bracket 112 through cover mounting arrangements 107.
Said bracket 112 is fixed with the frame such that it is holding head pipe 100, lower frame pipe 102 and upper frame pipe 102A and extended in backward direction such that its rear portion extends inside the fuel tank inner cavity 104 as shown in Figure 3.
Further as shown in Figure 3, front frame cover is covering left and right side of the vehicle such that said cover 103 is defining left and right front frame cover and fixed on left and right side of the frame separately and connected to each other and both left and right front frame covers are extending inside the fuel tank 104 so that it can cover the wiring harness coming out of from corresponding areas as well as it provides a better aesthetic front look of the vehicle.
Referring to Figure 4, enabling characteristics of the invention are explained where the constructional details of the frame cover 103 are provided. Said cover 103 has bottom extension 109 such that both side of covers 107 are fixed with each other through mentioned bottom extension 109 and it also has to top extensions 110 connected with each other on top side of said cover 103.
Mentioned bottom and top extensions 109,110 of the left and the right frame cover 107 are fixed with each other and form a partial open space 111. Through said open space 111, head pipe 102 and wiring harness coming from front part of vehicle e.g. from headlamp, speedometer etc also passes such that wiring goes along the wall of the cover bracket 112 which is covered with the frame cover 103.
Said frame cover 103 also has a rear extension 111 which covers the secondary air injection unit of the engine 112 and hence the fuel combustion increases as entry dust particles and other impurities with air reduces and thus engine efficiency increases.
Further, Figure 5 is explaining external utility of the claimed frame cover due to its specific aerodynamic design. As shown in figure 5, air 113 approaching the vehicle is getting diverted to the engine 112 as the slop and structure of the frame cover 103 is creating a passage for air 113 and hence engine 112 cooling will be more and easier and thus efficiency of the engine 112 will increase.
Above described arrangement provides a cost effective and easy way for improving aesthetic look, engine efficiency and packaging of the vehicle.
