FIELD OF INVENTION

The present invention relates to a scooter type vehicle with a front panel grill facilitating easy accessibility of mounting areas of different embodiments of scoter type vehicle for serviceability without compromising the audible requirements of the horn.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Generally, in scooter type vehicles current construction of Panel front has a large cut out for fulfilling the audible requirements of a horn. This large cut out in Panel front creates a see through condition from front side of vehicle affecting the overall aesthetics. Also, in this construction in order to do servicing of horn, front panel and the other surrounding parts like front fender whole front part has to be dismantled leading to more serviceability and maintainability time and cost. Thus an arrangement for fulfilling requirements of easy servicing, audible strength of horn and improved asthetics is required.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention related to a two wheeled vehicle having a grill on front panel. Said grill is fixed into a grill slot which is provided in the front panel. Grill slot is positioned in such a way that it facilitates access to the mounting arrangement of front fork and mounting arrangement of horn. Said grill slot is covered by. a grill such that the grill is permanently fixed with the grill slot on one location through a grill holder. Mentioned grill holder is fixed with the grill at one end and with the mounting and fixing means at the other end such that said mounting and fixing means are attached with the front panel and the grill. Grill has inward extensions configured to hold inner side of the grill slot. The grill can be pushed out from under the front panel in case of dismantling during servicing of horn or front fork. Provided grill in the front panel provide access to required location without dismantling the front panel and provides good aesthetic appearance to the front panel without compromising the audible requirements of horn.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The embodiments disclosed below are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed in the following detailed description. Rather, the embodiments are chosen and described so that others skilled in the art may utilize their teachings. The invention may have application to all types of vehicles. Figure 1 is depicting the mounting arrangement of the claimed panel grill 103 over the vehicle front panel 101. Said front panel 101 is covering the front part of the vehicle 100 and mounted over the front fender 105 of said vehicle 100. Said front fender 105 is further mounted over the front wheel 106 of the vehicle 100. Said grill 103 is fixed in a grill slot 104 provided in the front panel 101. Different mounting arrangements such as front fork mounting 102 and horn mounting 108 are visible from different angles through said grill 103 which facilitates easy serviceability, repair or replacement of concerned element.

Further, Figure 2 and Figure 3 are describing the embodiments of the grill 103. Said grill 103 has grill cut-outs 02 to facilitate easy transmission of sound waves and air through the panel in order to ensure better audible level of horn 107 mounted in the vehicle 100. Said grill 103 has inner extensions 01 facilitating mounting or fixing of the grill 103 with the grill slot 104 provided over the front panel 101 of the vehicle 100. Said inner extensions 01 are flexible such that the grill 103 can be fixed or removed from the grill slot 104 by pressing from outside or inside respectively. A grill holder 03 is fixed with the inner extensions 01 of the grill 103 facilitating a permanent fixture of the grill 103 with the grill slot 104 at one point. At the time of removal of the grill 103 from the grill slot 104, grill 103 remains at hanging position next to the grill slot 104. Said grill holder 03 has mounting 04 and fixing 05 means on its one end which are fixed with the grill slot 104 permanently. Enabling arrangements of the claimed grill is described in Figure 4 to Figure 7. As shown in Figure 4 and Figure 5, mounting arrangement of the horn 107 is visible from the front side of the front panel 101 of the vehicle 100. In case of service of the horn 107 of the vehicle grill 103 can. be pushed out side and through the grill slot 104, horn 107 can be removed from mounting points 108.

This location of the grill slot 104 is facilitating easy access to horn mounting 108 as mounting point of the horn 107 can easily be reached through the grill slot 104 and there is no requirement of removal of front panel 101 and other fixtures in order to reach to horn mounting 108. Further, as shown in Figure 6 and Figure 7, front fork mounting area 102 is visible from side of the front panel 101 through the grill slot 104. In case of servicing of the front fork, front panel 101 is not required to be removed and through said grill slot 104 front fork can be removed and repaired. Said grill 103 fixed with the grill slot 104 is improving aesthetics of the front part of the vehicle 100 and ensuring ease of servicing of the components mounted below the front panel 101.

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS

1) A two wheeled vehicle comprising :

a) a front panel covering front part of said two wheeled vehicle, and mounted over a front fender covering a front wheel;

b) a front fork such that at least one primary mounting means of front fork secured below the front panel; and

c) a horn assembly mounted behind the front panel through at least one secondary mounting means; wherein, a grill slot is provided in the front panel configured to facilitate access behind the front panel, and said grill slot is covered by a grill such that the grill is fixed with the grill slot on at least one location through a grill holder such that grill holder is fixed with the grill at one end and with the mounting and fixing means at the other end such that said mounting and fixing means are attached with the front panel and the grill.

2) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 1, wherein the grill slot is provided in the front panel is configured to facilitate access behind the front panel to the primary mounting means of front fork and secondary mounting means of horn.

3) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 1, wherein the grill has at least one inward extension configured to hold inner side of the grill slot.
