Abstract: The present invention discloses a front wheel lifting mechanism for vehicles with single front wheel. The front wheel lifting mechanism consists of a small wheel that is connected to the rod of piston cylinder arrangement. The piston cylinder arrangement is fixed on the chassis of the vehicle between the rear and front wheel. The mechanism of uplifting the piston is controlled pneumatically using a compressor. To control the motion of the piston a knob type switch is provided on the vehicle. This switch controls three motions of the piston. First motion is to align the piston cylinder arrangement vertically, second is to slide the rod of piston due to which vehicle get lifted and third is by retracting the rod of piston back to its original position.
FIELD OF INVENTION The present invention relates to the field of wheel lifting mechanism. More specifically the present invention is directed towards front wheel lifting mechanism for vehicles with single front wheel.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 5
Two wheeler and three wheeler vehicles comes under the category of vehicles with single front wheel. These vehicles can also be said as front mono wheel vehicles. So when there is need to pass over obstructions on the surface in the form of steps, stairs, blocks, or the like, above the normal level of the horizontal surface, then single front wheel vehicles tend to stuck on the obstacle as in these types of vehicles power is given to rear wheels. So due to this reason it becomes very difficult 10 job for the riders of single front vehicles to overcome that obstruction and a lot of force is required to lift the front wheel to cross that obstacle.
To overcome this issue the rider generally tries to uplift the front wheel of the vehicle manually and tries to get rid of the situation. But for the persons who are aged, weak or the like, it becomes very difficult for them to lift the front wheel of the vehicle. This situation can becomes worse for 15 differently-abled persons or small children as they cannot uplift their tricycle. So they have to call for help to a third person for lifting their tricycle.
So inventors of the present invention have come up with idea of developing a mechanism for uplifting the front wheel of the vehicles with single front wheel. The front wheel of two wheeler or three wheeler vehicle can lift a step from ground without applying any human force. The 20 inventors have used a simple compressor and a piston cylinder arrangement for uplifting these vehicles.
The mechanism used by the inventors is very simple and effective. The cost of the equipment is very low and can be easily installed on vehicles with single front wheel.

There is no existing mechanism that is used for vehicles particularly with single front wheel so that the front wheel can uplift from the ground level.

Innovative approach proposed by the inventor
The present invention provides an easy and simple mechanism for uplifting the vehicles with single front wheel without applying any human force. The inventors have used a piston-cylinder arrangement working on pneumatic pressure to uplift the vehicle. A knob type button is provided in the circuit that will provide different motions to the piston cylinder arrangement. The 5 mechanism being very simple and easy to operate can be easy installed on any vehicle with single front wheel.

Another object of the present invention is to disclose a front wheel lifting mechanism that is very easy to operate using a knob button.

The front wheel lifting mechanism consists of a small wheel that is connected to the rod of piston cylinder arrangement. The piston cylinder arrangement is fixed on the chassis of the vehicle between the rear and front wheel. The mechanism of uplifting the piston is controlled pneumatically using a compressor. To control the motion of the piston, a knob type switch is provided on the vehicle. This switch controls three motions of the piston. First motion is to align 10 the piston cylinder arrangement vertically, second is to slide the rod of piston due to which vehicle get lifted and third is by retracting the rod of piston back to its original position. A battery is placed on the vehicle that connects to the compressor and knob switch through wires.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The following description is of the best-contemplated mode of carrying out the invention.
The description is made for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention and 15 should not be taken in a limiting sense.
The front wheel lifting mechanism consists of a small wheel (1) that is joined with a rod of piston cylinder arrangement (2). The piston cylinder arrangement (2) is fixed to the chassis of the vehicle. The motion to the piston is provided using a compressor (3) i.e. piston cylinder arrangement 20 operated pneumatically for which a rack and pinion can also be used. The movement of the piston cylinder arrangement (2) is controlled using a knob switch (5). This knob switch (5) works on three positions.
Position 1 - Off
Position 2 -Aligns the piston cylinder vertically. 25
Postion-3 – Pneumatically piston rods comes out and lifts the vehicle

The whole system is connected with a battery (4) using wires (6) that provides power to the wheel lifting mechanism.
Working of the present invention:
1- When an obstruction or step comes ahead of vehicle then the rider stops the vehicle and 5 turns knob switch (5) from position 1 to position 2.
2- Due to rotation of the knob switch (5) which was earlier at off position now comes to position -2 due to this compressor (3) operates electrically and aligns the piston cylinder arrangement (2) vertically as shown in fig-2.
3- Now the knob switch (5) is again turned from position 2 to position 3, so due to this 10 compressor (3) operated the piston cylinder arrangement (2) and rod of the piston comes out due to pneumatic pressure of compressor (3).
4- Due to this movement of piston rod, the vehicle is lifted upwards.
In another application of the present invention the front wheel lifting mechanism can also be used 15 on a tricycle used for differently abled persons as shown in fig-5.
Novelty The novelty of the present invention lies in developing a front wheel lifting mechanism for vehicles with single front wheel. The problem that exists in vehicles with single front wheel is while 20 crossing a step or obstruction above the normal horizontal surface. Then the rider has to manually lift the front wheel. The inventors of the present invention have provided a very easy mechanism that is controlled by a knob switch for lifting the front wheel of these vehicles using a compressor.
Inventive step
The inventors of the present invention has overcome the problem of lifting front wheel of single 25 front wheel vehicles which is required when these vehicle get stuck due to a step or obstruction ahead. The inventors have used a small wheel which is connected to a piston cylinder arrangement that lifts the front wheel of the vehicle. The piston cylinder arrangement is fixed on the chassis of the vehicle between front and rear wheels. A compressor is used for pneumatically driving the piston. A knob switch is also provided to control the movement of the piston cylinder arrangement. 30 So now the manual lifting of the vehicle is not required.

Industrial application Front wheel lifting mechanism for vehicles with single front wheel finds industrial application for the manufactures of two wheeler as well as three wheeler vehicle.
WE CLAIM
1. A front wheel lifting mechanism for vehicles with single front wheel for lifting the vehicle which may be stuck due to a step or obstruction ahead comprising:
a small wheel (1) that is joined with a rod of piston cylinder arrangement (2) fixed on the chassis of the vehicle with any suitable fixing mechanism for its up and down 5 movement.
a pneumatic compressor (3) which is operated by a knob switch (5) and
a battery (4) with wires (6) for powering the mechanism
WHEREIN the small wheel (1) lifts front wheel of the vehicle to a certain height with the help of piston rods extending outward pneumatically. 10 2. The front wheel lifting mechanism for vehicles with single front wheel for lifting the vehicle WHEREIN the knob switch (5) works on three position viz. Position 1 – Off, Position 2 - Vertically aligns the piston cylinder, Postion-3 – Pneumatically piston rods extends outward and lift the vehicle. 3. The method of working of the front wheel lifting mechanism for vehicles with single front 15 wheel comprises of following steps:
The rider stops the vehicle when an obstruction or step comes ahead of vehicle and turns knob switch (5) from position 1 to position 2;
Shifting knob switch (5) turns on the compressor (3) and aligns the piston cylinder arrangement (2) vertically as shown in fig-2; 20
Knob switch (5) is again turned from position 2 to position 3 and rod of the piston comes out due to pneumatic pressure of compressor (3);
Cylinder rod extends and small wheel (1) makes contact with ground and lift up the front wheel vehicle;
Rider accelerates and the front wheel of the vehicle moves over the obstruction or 25 step and no manual effort is required for lifting the vehicle;
The above steps are repeated in reverse order that takes vehicle to its normal original position and

Rider finally normally accelerates the vehicle and crosses the obstruction with vehicle power.
