Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a cost effective and efficient fuel injection pump drive system comprising an integrated sprocket with idler gear and spline type arrangement for driving fuel injection pump (FIP) system for internal combustion BSVI engine. The integrated sprocket with idler gear and spline type arrangement transmits power to fuel injection pump system through fuel injection pump (FIP) shaft. The integrated sprocket takes place of cam sprocket, idler gear and fuel injection shaft. Further the cost effective and efficient fuel injection pump drive system is having external arrangement of a splines fixing tool to assemble and fasten said fuel injection pump drive system. In another embodiment, it discloses a fuel injection pump mechanism system for driving the fuel injection pump for an automobile internal combustion engine comprising an integrated sprocket having internal splines to drives external splines of a fuel injection pump (FIP) shaft. The fuel injection pump shaft has two lobes to drive cam roller of said fuel injection pump system resultant power gets transferred to the fuel injection integrated with front cover of engine itself.
DESC:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to a fuel injection pump drive system and method of driving the fuel injection pump for an internal combustion engine of an automobile. Particularly, it relates to spline type fuel injection pump drive system with spline type arrangement for effective driving the fuel injection pump for internal combustion engine of BSVI engine.
BACKGROUND
[002] In the conventional approach, the injection pump drive indirectly from the crank shaft to deliver the right quantity of fuel in to the combustion chamber via fuel injector device for better combustion. It also opts for gear train arrangement to drive the fuel injection pump. This leads to the increases overall weight of the engine. Hence additional space required to fit the fuel injection pump in gear train arrangement system drive of the engine. Although their complexity makes it complicated to replace individual parts.
[003] The existing solution for transferring the power from the cranks sprocket to the cam sprocket through chain drives mechanism. The fuel injection pump need to be mounted and bolted to the cam sprocket and fuel injection pump shaft has cam, projected on it, providing driving mechanism to the cam roller of fuel injection pump system, creates more deflection in the main shaft drive. In order to overcome this deflection of the shaft, integrated cam sprocket with idler gear and internal splines taking place of cam sprocket, fuel injection pump (FIP) shaft and idler gear are used.
[004] The conventional fuel injection pump drive arrangement having more number of parts such as crank gear, idler gear, fuel injection pump gear, camshaft gear etc. Due to more numbers of parts involves in driving the fuel injection pump, records in more deflection of the components contributes more vibrations in engine.
[005] Thus there is an unmet need for a simplified fuel injection pump drive mechanism which is effective even without complex structure like pulley- belt arrangement for driving fuel injection pump, which is easy to assemble; improve system alignment thereby enhancing reliability, durability and performance of the system.
BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[006] The present invention solve the aforementioned and other deficiencies of existing system by providing a cost effective and efficient fuel injection pump drive system comprising an integrated sprocket with idler gear and spline type arrangement for driving fuel injection pump (FIP) system for internal combustion BSVI engine. In other word a transmission shaft for eliminating the conventional steel connections for improving the reliability of transmission.
[007] In one embodiment, the cost effective and efficient fuel injection pump drive system comprising integrated sprocket with idler gear and spline type arrangement transmits power to fuel injection pump system through fuel injection pump (FIP) shaft. Here the integrated sprocket takes place of cam sprocket, idler gear and FIP shaft.
[008] In another embodiment, the present invention also discloses a fuel injection pump drive system. The cost effective and efficient fuel injection pump drive system is having external arrangement of a splines fixing tool to assemble and fasten said fuel injection pump drive system. Here the purpose of external splines fixing tool to solve the outer fuel pump drive spline during assembly and fastening the nuts fuel injection pump.
[009] In another embodiment, the present invention discloses a system and a method of fuel injection pump drive system for driving the fuel injection pump for an automobile internal combustion engine, still more particularly the power is transferred from the integrated sprocket to the fuel Injection pump drive system through fuel injection pump shaft arrangement.

The power gets transfer from the piston to crank shaft through connecting rods. The performance of the engine is influenced by the injection system design. Fuel injection pump drive mechanism plays major role in driving the pump for fuel injection system.

The fuel injection pump shaft is bolted to the cam sprocket having cam lobes on it. The power is transfer from piston to the crank shaft. The crack shaft delivers this power to cam sprocket in order to drive the fuel injection pump. The cam lobes drive the cam roller of the fuel injection pump in order distributes the proper amount of fuel in the combustion chamber in the internal combustion engine.

2) The cost effective and efficient fuel injection pump drive system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said integrated sprocket with idler gear and spline type arrangement transmits power to fuel injection pump system through fuel injection pump (FIP) shaft.
3) The cost effective and efficient fuel injection pump drive system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said integrated sprocket takes place of cam sprocket, idler gear and FIP shaft.
4) The cost effective and efficient fuel injection pump drive system as claimed in claim 1, wherein said cost effective and efficient fuel injection pump drive system is having external arrangement of a splines fixing tool to assemble and fasten said fuel injection pump drive system.
5) A fuel injection pump mechanism system for driving the fuel injection pump for an automobile internal combustion engine comprising an integrated sprocket having internal splines to drives external splines of a fuel injection pump (FIP) shaft.
6) The fuel injection pump as claimed in claim 5, wherein said fuel injection pump shaft has two lobes to drive cam roller of said fuel injection pump system resultant power gets transferred to said fuel injection pump.
