Fuel Injection Valve

Abstract: In this fuel injection valve, a lateral passage 211 has an inclined passage part 2112 that is inclined with respect to a radial direction RD centered on a central axis 1a of the fuel injection valve on a projection view (fig. 6A) projected onto a virtual plane perpendicular to the central axis 1a. An intersection point P1 between a center axis 211Ax2 of the inclined passage part 2112 and a peripheral edge 300a of a fuel introduction hole 300 is positioned on the passage of the lateral passage 211. Alternatively, a starting point P2 of the inclined passage part 2112 is positioned on the peripheral edge 300a of the fuel introduction hole 300 or farther into the fuel introduction hole 300 than the peripheral edge 300a of the fuel introduction hole 300. Due to this configuration, in a fuel injection valve that combines multiple deflected sprays to inject an overall spray, it is possible to, inter alia, change the shape of the overall spray or change the fuel distribution ratio within a cross section of the overall spray.
