[0001] The present invention generally relates to a fuel tank of a step through two wheeled vehicle and more particularly to mounting arrangement for the fuel tank. '
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] In conventional step through two wheeled vehicles, mainly used for load transportation, the fuel tank is lócated under the rear seat as well as the fuel filling slot for the same is located above said fuel tank. Thus this fuel filling slot can be accessed only by removing the rear seat.
[0003] In case load is mounted on the rear seat the rider has to remove the load also to access it that cause inconvenience for the rider. Also having both fuel tank and fuel filling slot under the rear seat/ load mounting área increases the possibility pf damage of fuel tank opening during transportation or miss-handling of the load.
[0004] To solve this problem, in some vehicles fuel tank was moved bit forward rider seat resulting in position of the fuel filling slot exactly above the engine. This position increases the chances of fuel spillage pn top of hot engine risking the safety of the rider. Also position of the fuel tank being at the rear side can risk fuel tank damage by any incoming rear or side external forcé. [0005] Thus a solution of this problem is required that also falls in the packaging parameters of the step through vehicle.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0006] Main objective of present invention is to provide a fuel tank mounting arrangement in a two wheeled vehicle used for load transportation. In this arrangement the fuel tánk sits below the pillioñ seat and the fuel filling slot is mounted below the rider seat. Said fuel filling slot is connected to the fuel tank through'a connecting passage.
[0007] Another objective of the invention is to provide that the fuel filling slot is located in a container below the rider seat in a storage unit mounted in front of the fuel tank. An outlet tube extends downward from the container configured to direct spilled fuel in the atmosphere.
