Fuel Tank Vent Valve Assembly And Method Of Assembly
Abstract: A vent valve assembly (10 110 210 310) includes a first housing component (20 120 220 320) a second housing component (22 122 222 322) and a third housing component (24 124 224 324) as well as a first valve (12 112 212 312) and a second valve (14 114 214 314). The first second and third housing components are configured to assemble together along one directional axis (E) with the second housing component the first valve and the second valve between the first and third housing components and with the second valve laterally spaced from the first valve. The assembled first second and third housing components define a nonlinear vapor flow path (A B C) that redirects vapor from the first valve to the second valve thereby reducing an overall height of the vent valve assembly.
