, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to gardening. The present invention more particularly relates to a system for monitoring the environment conditions of the plants and plant treatment.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Plant provides us with almost all the basic needs for survival but we are unable to provide plant with its basic needs like water, non-polluted oxygen and as a result plants are unable to survive. Plants are considered to be the major source of the survival and helps to purify the air filled with pollutants. Many feel responsible to plant a tree and some consider it as a hobby. Planting a tree is not just burying a seed ball in the soil, it has many factors to be considered. Some plants need more care for an efficient growth. There are some plants which are grown only for showcase purposes and homemade agriculture. The required environment must be provided to the plant and should be watered time to time to make the photosynthesis happen. One kind of soil or nutrient is not sufficient to all the plants to grow better. Each plant has its characteristics to gain a high yield. IOT is basically defined as the phenomenon where, sensor are used which regularly sends data to the server.
Internet of Things (IOT) is all about collecting information from the world with the help of network devices which are connected and capable of collecting the information, and the information which are collected by the sensors are then shared on cloud Network devices includes sensors and other physical devices. Internet of things alludes to a system which comprises physical gadgets, vehicles, structures and different things which are implanted with hardware, programming, sensors and so on.Web of things empowers these gadgets to associate with one another and trade information. Internet of things is one area which is blossoming nowadays which are making our lives simple, we use web of things in different areas, for example, Home robotization, wearable's, Smart framework, horticulture, shrewd retail, social insurance and so on... Modernization the earth like pruning trees for developing tall structures and this outcome in natural lopsidedness and climatic changes. For relieving the impact, cultivating like planting trees and bushes will turn out to be increasingly more significant than an interest
So to overcome all these problems, a monitoring system using Internet of Things (IOT) is needed which not only monitors the growth but also gives alerts when there is a defect in the growth or proving a suitable environment. In this way it manages to perform its operations automatically. The present invention IOT based smart garden monitoring system sense the requirement of the plant and provide it with water as the soil loses its moisture.
Different soils have different fertility and moisture level so soil and moisture sensor is used to detect this problem. In our country there are six different seasons and each day have different temperature and humidity level so to check the temperature and humidity for the better health and survival of plant temperature and humidity sensor are used which regularly sends data to the server. In this way it manages to perform its operations automatically.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
The main object of the present invention is to provide a garden monitoring system which provide the required environment to the plant and is watered time to time for carrying out photosynthesis.
Another object of the present invention is to increase the yield of the plants and to maintain garden in order to keep a proper appearance of the garden.
Other objects and benefits of the present invention will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to bind the scope of the present invention.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
Accordingly, a system for garden monitoring and maintaining the garden is disclosed. A garden monitoring system using internet of things (IOT) comprising of; Database of the website for user registration; A LAN OR WAN network such as internet; Sensors used for controlling temperature, humidity, moisture, light intensity; Monitoring system attached to the computer ;Wherein all the sensors (sensor 1, sensor 2. Sensor 3, sensor 4) are attached to the computer and user can watch all the data related to the garden on his mobile screen through controlling the monitoring system attached with the computer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH RESPECT TO DRAWINGS:
The present invention is a garden monitoring system using internet of things (IOT).The present invention provides a garden monitoring system which provide the required environment to the plant and is watered time to time for carrying out photosynthesis. The present invention helps to increase the yield of the plants and to maintain garden in order to keep a proper appearance of the garden.
In one embodiment, the present invention provides a smart control of the garden, by irrigating the garden based on data collected by the sensors. The present invention provides a smart garden system environment able to auto monitoring the humidity and water amount in the garden and provide needs to environment. The system vision is to connect a growing bed via sensors to a computer so that moisture and temperature is measured and stores that data. The present invention enables to determine the minimal feasible amount of watering and is beneficial both the user and garden.
In another embodiment, All the sensors (Temperature, moisture, humidity) used with the controller and this information about the garden can be directly monitored and controlled by the owner of the garden through his or her smart phone using IoT. All the parameters of the garden like temperature, humidity, moisture, light intensity are controlled with the help of sensors like humidity sensor, moisture sensor, temperature sensor is interfaced with the small single computer and also provides a set of GPIO (general purpose input/output) pins that allow to control electronic components for physical computing and explore the Internet of Things (IoT). The temperature sensor (sensor 1) monitors the environment condition in the field every day. This sensor operates when the applied voltage increases. The different types of humidity sensors are thermal, capacitive and resistive. This sensor is used to determine the water level in the water tank. An electric motor is an electrical machine that converts electric energy into mechanical energy. IoT technology is making motor smarter. Motor are connected to the computer which pumps the water whenever admin gives the instruction. The motor is connected to relay model which is connected to computer, in which the user can control the operations of the motor according to the situation. The computer used is a small card size cheapest computer. It is basically a microcontroller. It is a circuit board and it is referred as a motherboard. All the plant growth details obtained from the plant are visible to the end user through computer.
In another embodiment, Soil Moisture Sensor (sensor 2) is used to measure the moisture content of the soil. This sensor reminds the user to water their plants and also monitors the water content in the soil. The soil moisture sensor will detect the moisture content, if the moisture content is less than the required moisture level through the relay the signal will be sent and the water pumped will be on, after a few seconds the water pump will be turned off. Soil moisture sensor consists of two probes which can be inserted into the soil. Soil moisture sensor measures the volumetric water current in the soil. Soil moisture sensor measures the volumetric water content indirectly by using some other property of the soil, such as electrical resistance, dielectric constant. This sensor is used to detect the temperature of the soil. Soil moisture sensor mainly used to detect the soil moisture content present in the soil. When current is passed through these probes, if the soil has less moisture then the electricity won’t pass through out the soil which comes from the probes. But if there is some moisture content in the soil then the electricity from the probes passes through out the soil and this can be detected by the probes and sends the data to the computer.
In another embodiment, Humidity and Temperature sensor (sensor 3) .The temperature sensor screens the earth condition in the horticultural field each day. It is a low cost humidity and temperature sensor with a single wire digital interface. The sensor is calibrated and doesn’t require extra components.
In another embodiment, Water level sensor (sensor 4) is used to get the water level. LDR sensor will be used to detect the light presence and LED light is used to increase the light presence if needed. This helps in the photosynthesis. During the night times LDR will automatically helps to switch on the light which helps to observe our plant even at night times. All the sensors are attached to the computer through which a user can watch all the data related to the garden on his mobile screen after registration of the user in the database of the website.
