Abstract: A gas barrier laminate that comprises a paper base material and a vapor deposition layer, that is sealable by heat sealing, and wherein the weight per unit area of the paper base material is 30-100 g/m2, the water vapor permeability at 40ºC and 90% RH is 3 g/m2/d or less, the water vapor permeability at 40ºC and 90% RH as measured after placing the paper base material on the outside, folding, rolling a roller weighing 2 kg once over the result, and opening the fold is 4 g/m2/d or less, and the water vapor permeability at 40ºC and 90% RH as measured after placing the paper base material on the inside, folding, rolling a roller weighing 2 kg once over the result, and opening the fold is 4 g/m2/d or less.
