Abstract: A Gas cooktop assembly with frame and tempered glass mounted upon independent metal Legs. The independent metal Leg makes it durable, least heat deflective and easy to clean.

1. A Gas cooktop assembly with frame and tempered glass mounted upon independent metal legs as shown in Figure 1.
DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a Gas cooktop assembly. More particularly the invention relates to a Gas cooktop assembly with frame and tempered glass mounted upon independent metal legs which makes it a minimalist design.
Background and the 'prior art'
The existing type of gas cooktops are either a fully enclosed and covered steel base or with plastic legs which is having poor load bearing, and safety issues at elevated temperatures.
Type 1: Gas cooktop design with an enclosed steel base
These types of designs are with an enclosed steel base where the accessories are kept over it. They are with limited cleanability under the cooktop. During cooking, spill over is an unavoidable situation and cleaning is a pain point to. Also, it will attract insects and can form a basement under the metal shell. This is a safety concern as chocking or gas spread can be resulted.
Type 2: Gas cooktop with Plastic Leg
These types of gas cooktop are with plastic leg. The load bearing capacity of plastic will be lost during evaluated temperatures. If the legs are not placed in safe distance from burner or an accidental fire due to gas leakage or improper selection of plastic material can lead in to disaster/ scalding.
Objectives of the invention
The main objective of the invention is to develop a gas cook top which can ensure the safety of the customer and address the pain points of the prior art available in the market by using
1) least heat deflection type metal legs designed for safety and load bearing.
2) Easy to clean design so that insects and food accumulation threats can be addressed.
Detailed Description of the Invention with drawings
The new gas cooktop invented is with leg made from metal of tubular form is bend to the desired shape. The Legs are assembled to the supporting frame and the tempered glass is placed over that frame. This innovative metal leg construction is giving enough load bearing capacity and access for easy cleaning under the cooktop. The metal legs are least heat deflection properties which enable rigid safety measures.
Figure 1 shows the Gas cooktop assembly with metal leg, wherein (A) is the metal leg. The Frame (B) and tempered glass (C) fixed on top of the frame is mounted upon metal leg.
