I/We Claim:
1) A gel formulation comprising:
(a) at least one carrier;
(b) at least one fragrance solubilizer;
(c) at least one silicone-based emollient;
(d) at least one structurant; and
(e) at least one fragrance,
wherein the at least one fragrance solubilizer to the at least one carrier weight ratio is in the range of 1:11 – 1:26.
2) The gel formulation as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one fragrance solubilizer to the at least one carrier weight ratio is in the range of 1:16 – 1:23.
3) The gel formulation as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one silicone-based emollient to the at least one carrier weight ratio is in the range of 1:3 – 1:8.
4) The gel formulation as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one structurant to the at least carrier weight ratio is in the range of 1:10 – 1:26.
5) The gel formulation as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one fragrance to the at least carrier weight ratio is in the range of 1:2 – 1:8.
6) The gel formulation as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one carrier has a weight percentage in the range of 52 – 78 % with respect to the formulation; the at least one fragrance solubilizer has a weight percentage in the range of 3 – 5 % with respect to the formulation; the at least one silicone-based emollient has a weight percentage in the range of 10 – 17 % with respect to the formulation; the at least one structurant has a weight percentage in the range of 3 – 5 % with respect to the formulation; the at least one fragrance has a weight percentage in the range of 10 – 25 % with respect to the formulation.
7) The gel formulation as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one carrier is selected from the group consisting of alcohol, water, polyol, and combinations thereof; the at least one fragrance solubilizer is selected from

the group consisting of PPG-26-buteth-26 , PEG-40-hydrogenated castor oil, polysorbates, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate, and combinations thereof; the at least one silicone-based emollient is selected from the group consisting of PEG-12 dimethicone, dimethicone, dimethiconol, and combinations thereof; the at least one structurant is selected from the group consisting of hydroxyethyl acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer (and) isohexadecane (and) polysorbate 60, acrylate copolymers, cellulose derivatives, cross-linked starch derivatives and combinations thereof.
8) The gel formulation as claimed in claim 1, further comprises at least one cosmetically acceptable excipient selected from the group consisting of denaturant, preservative, opacifier, whitening agent, antioxidant, and combinations thereof.
9) The gel formulation as claimed in claim 8, wherein the denaturant has a weight percentage in the range of 0.0002 – 1 % with respect to the formulation, and is selected from the group consisting of tert-butyl alcohol, denatonium benzoate, diethyl phthalate, and combinations thereof; the preservative has a weight percentage in the range of 0.05 – 1 % with respect to the formulation, and is selected from the group consisting of phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, octenidine hydrochloride, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, and combinations thereof; the opacifier has a weight percentage in the range of 0.01 – 2 % with respect to the formulation, and is selected from the group consisting of talc, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, mica, calcium borosilicate, fluorphlogopite and combinations thereof; the whitening agent has a weight percentage in the range of 0.1 – 1 % with respect to the formulation, and is selected from the group consisting of niacinamide, licorice extract, and combinations thereof; the antioxidant has a weight percentage in the range of 0.01 – 0.5 % with respect to the formulation, and is selected from the group consisting of butylated hydroxy toluene (BHT), pentaerythrityl tetra-di-t-butyl hydroxyhydrocinnamate, tocopherol, tocopheryl acetate, and combinations thereof.

10) The gel formulation as claimed in any one of the claims 1 – 9, wherein the formulation has a viscosity in the range 1000-8000 cps.
11) A process for preparing the gel formulation as claimed in claim 1, the process comprising:

(a) obtaining the at least one carrier;
(b) obtaining the at least one fragrance solubilizer;
(c) obtaining the at least one silicone-based emollient;
(d) obtaining the at least one structurant;
(e) obtaining the at least one fragrance; and
(f) contacting the at least one carrier, the at least one fragrance solubilizer, the at least one silicone-based emollient, the at least one structurant, and the at least one fragrance to obtain the gel formulation.
12) A process for preparing the gel formulation as claimed in claim 8, the
process comprising:
(a) obtaining the at least one carrier;
(b) obtaining the at least one fragrance solubilizer;
(c) obtaining the at least one silicone-based emollient;
(d) obtaining the at least one structurant;
(e) obtaining the at least one fragrance;
(f) obtaining the at least one cosmetically acceptable excipient; and
(g) contacting the at least one carrier, the at least one fragrance solubilizer,
the at least one silicone-based emollient, the at least one structurant, the
at least one fragrance, and the at least one cosmetically acceptable
excipient to obtain the gel formulation.
