l. Title - GLOBAL SPHERICAL CO-ORDINATE BASED SYSETM FOR DEFENSE OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
2. Applicant VALUABLE INNOVATION PRIVATE LIMITED

The following specification describes the invention.
Broadly speaking Intellectual property comprises of trademark, copyright, patent, design, geographical location or place of origin of a particular product.
Many times for one's own selfish motives, a user is often tempted to illegally use certified IP beyond its restricted geographically earmarked location. Over the years it has been observed that the inventor has incurred heavy royalty losses due to his inability to track the authentic usage of the IP valid for a particular site / place or region. Particularly this misuse affects IT, Pharmaceuticals, Engineering, Food & beverages, Entertainment industry to a'major extent.
Moreover, such misuse can lead to numerous social, health and economical and security disasters around the globe.
In light of the aforesaid perpetual complexity to trace and curb the dishonest IP practice, a novel and unique system is invented by authors to safeguard the legal usage of the Intellectual Property within the permitted radial distance on earth.
Spherical coordinates are the natural coordinates for describing and analyzing physical situations where there is spherical symmetry. The geographic coordinate system applies the two angles of the spherical coordinate system to express locations on Earth, calling them latitude and longitude
The precise location of any point of usage of the certified IP user on the surface, elevated surface or subsurface of the earth can be defined in terms of latitude, longitude, altitude plus the actual height or depth of the location.
Normally Latitude is further represented symbolically by the Greek letter phi, *r it gives the location of a place on Earth (or other planetary body) north or south of the equator. Lines of Latitude on the spherical globe are the horizontal lines connecting east-to-west locations on maps. Technically latitude is an angular measurement in degrees (marked with °) ranging from 0° at the Equator (low latitude) to 90° at the poles (90° N for the North Pole or 90° S for the South Pole; high latitude).
In spherical coordinates, colatitude is the complementary angle of the latitude, i.e. the difference between the latitude and 90°. The colatitudes is useful in astronomy because it refers to the zenith distance of the celestial poles.
Longitude is the east-west (Side to Side) geographic coordinate measurement most commonly used in cartography and global navigation. A line of longitude is a meridian and half of a great circle. Unlike latitude, which has the equator as a natural starting position, there is no natural starting position for longitude. Therefore, a reference meridian had to be chosen. British cartographers had used the Greenwich meridian in London,
The invention makes use of this globally popular data representation.
Longitude is given as an angular measurement ranging from 0° at the prime meridian to +180° eastward and -180° westward. The Greek letter A (lambda), is used to denote the location of a place on Earth east or west of the prime meridian
Altitude is the elevation of a point or object from a known level or datum (plural: data). Common data are mean sea level, local ground level (Above Ground Level, or AGL), or the surface of the WGS-84 geoid, used by GPS.
For aviation application altitude is measured in units termed feet. For non-aviation uses, altitude may be measured in other units such as meters or miles.
In addition to globally mapped altitude data along with the proprietary technique of measurement of the height or depth of a specific location on earth, the invented system by authors principally utilizes the Geographical Position Satellite based data signals transmitted from the multiple satellites orbiting around the earth. These signals are easy, accurate, and continuously available. Hence it is most secured mode of finding a given location on earth in terms of latitudes and longitudes.
One the GPS co-ordiantes are defined, the height and depth of the location are computed based on variation of atmospheric pressure and/or density with altitude,
Alternatively the system is capable of generating colatitudes data too.
The invented system issues a "Unique Encrypted Digital GPS (inclusive of altitude and height or depth data) based Certificate" to an authentic user of the said IP. The certificate bears with an Expiry Label based on pure mathematical value of the geographical co-ordinates of its user. The certificate possesses a regional or location based validity for given radial distance.
The unique digitally encrypted certificate will be offered in three categories.
[1].Hardware - In this class, the certificate is in the form of proprietary hardware which will be integrated (embedded) with the main hardware system at the end of legal user. The certified used is permitted to use this hardware for designing his own application e.g. hardware design, modules
[2].Software - Under this category the digitally encrypted certificate will be issued as proprietary software which will be loaded on the server or stand alone m/c of the legal user. The said use(s) can utilize this propriety software as a base to develop software for his application as pre-decided by the system.
[3].Combo- In this the certificate itself is in the form of combination of hardware and software
Based upon the location, the typical client who will make use of the aforesaid system can be further classified as -
a) Location where GPS signal (Umbrella) are Directly Reachable
b) Non-Umbrella Location (shadow zone)
For category A user, the GPS signal is directly reaching the user who falls under one or more of the 1-3 type of holder of the digital encrypted category. As the GPS signal is directly reaching this class A customer, whenever the user crosses the permitted radial distance of usage of assigned IP, the encrypted digital certificate fails to operate as its violate the basic clause. Any one of 1 to 3 proprietary certificate has built in smartness which upon receiving the GPS signal, compares it's mathematical value with the license figure and any discrepancy in the match forces the system to shut down
On the contrary, in the non-umbrella (shadow zone) category user, where GPS signal are either weak or not at all penetrating, the difficulty is to trace the exact global co-ordinates of such user and associated possible misuse of IP.
However, the invented system is capable to outline & investigate such malpractice. For such category an external GPS receiver is installed in the vicinity of the said customer on the preset terms and conditions of operation. The customer's hardware/software/media transmits its distance or location coordinates to the aforesaid GPS receiver which subsequently works on the aforesaid mathematical discrepancy rule.
The radial distance related data is transmitted in the encrypted format over the dedicated secured network (it can be any on or combination of PSTN/LAN/WAN or blue tooth enabled wireless wi fi network. The radial, linear, angular distances are measured by an in-house designed smart technology based on sound fundamentals of -physics involving magnetism, dual nature of light and motion of particle in space.
Once the GPS receiver, collects the data from the real time location of the IP user's device (software/hardware/media), it can balance this value with the continuously captured actual GPS indicating satellite data, simulate on the built in algorithm to remotely dysfunction the IP user and save inventor from losing the royalty.
The system supports the logbook citing the precise special co-ordinates of the location of usage of legal IP. Thus in case of misuse of the IP beyond the permitted zone, based upon the time and location and user id stamp it is possible to pin point the exact identity of the culprit. This offline data can be used to trigger the predefined preventive action.
A Schematic diagram for implementation of the Spherical Co-ordinate based IP protection system is represented in Figure 1.
