Grain Oriented Electrical Steel Sheet And Method For Manufacturing Same

Abstract: This directional electromagnetic steel sheet comprises a base steel sheet having a prescribed chemical composition, a glass coating formed on the base steel sheet, and a tension-imparting insulation coating formed on the glass coating. A plurality of linear strains extending continuously or intermittently in a direction intersecting the rolling direction are present on the surface of the base steel sheet. The spacing p, in the rolling direction, between mutually adjacent linear strains is 3.0 to 9.0 mm, the width of the linear strains is 10-250 µm, and in an X-ray topography spectrum in the range of 1.50 mm in the rolling direction centered on the center of the linear strains, obtained from an X-ray topography image of the surface, the half width of the peak of the X-ray topography spectrum including the maximum value of the spectral intensity is 0.02 mm to 0.10 mm.
