India is one of the largest producers of various crops all over the world. The history of Agriculture in India dates back to Indus Valley Civilization and even before that in some places of Southern India. The Indian farmers don’t have technologies and thus face lot of problems during farming/agriculture. Filling the harvested crops i.e. grain/paddy is one such problem. India has the largest paddy output in the world and is also the fourth largest exporter of rice in the world. In India, West Bengal is the largest rice producing state. Paddy fields are a common sight throughout India, both in the northern gangetic plains and the southern peninsular plateaus. Paddy is cultivated at least twice a year in most parts of India, the two seasons being known as Rabi and Kharif respectively. The former cultivation is dependent on irrigation, while the latter depends on Monsoon. The paddy cultivation plays a major role in socio-cultural life of rural India. Many festivals such as Onam in Kerala, Bihu in Assam, Makara Sankranthi in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Thai Pongal In Tamil Nadu, Makar Sankranti in Karnataka, Nabanna in West Bengal celebrates harvest of Paddy. Kaveri delta region of Thanjavur is historically known as the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu and Kuttanadu is called the rice bowl of Kerala.
201741030981 discloses a portable grain lifter cum sack filling machine which is used to lift the grains for the piles of grains in the ground and filling the grains in the sack. Now a days the grains are filled manually into the sack. This required three or four people is involved in the above process. Thus filling the grain in the sack bags consumes more time. In order to overcome the above difficulties a Portable Grain lifter cum sack filling machine to filling the sack by the grains from the pile of grains needs to be designed and fabricated. This work concentrates on design and fabrication of portable sack filling machine. The machine automatically takes the grains from the pile of grains and filled it into the sack. The worker only moves the machine and after the sack is filled stop the machine and replace the filled sack with empty sack.
US7540700B2 discloses a grain cart or similar device for receiving and moving granular agricultural product from a harvester includes bulk filling structure for directly loading an elongated intermodal container. The cart has a frame supported on wheel structure at generally a constant height relative to the surface of the ground, and a grain tank is fixed to the frame. A lift assembly connected to the cart frame adjacent the tank supports a vertically adjustable high speed filling conveyor above the cart hitch. The filling conveyor is operable at a speed sufficient to throw the material along an arcuate path through a side opening in the intermodal container towards the opposite end of the container. The intermodal container can be filled directly from the grain cart with the end of the filling conveyor located outside of the container.
CN103171777A discloses a household automatic grain filling machine which comprises a grain conveying device, a filling device, an automatic weight measuring system, a bag opening device and a sewing device which are sequentially arranged, wherein the filling device comprises a funnel and a baffle plate, the funnel is provided with a long and thin channel, the baffle plate is arranged in the long and thin channel in a sliding manner and is capable of extending in and extracting relative to the long and thin channel, when the baffle plate extends in, the long and thin channel is cut off, and when the baffle plate extracts, the long and thin channel is opened; and the automatic weight measuring system comprises a weighing box arranged below the bottom end of the long and thin channel, a gravity sensor connected with the weighing box, and a control mechanism connected with the gravity sensor, the control mechanism is also connected with the filling device, an opening capable of being opened or closed is formed in the bottom of the weighing box, and the control mechanism is connected with the opening. The household automatic grain filling machine is economic and practical, is easy to operate and understand, small in volume, high in efficiency, and few in labor demand, and can be widely applied to villages.
