Graphical Representation In Gre

Abstract: SSFDR is designed to record Aircraft Data & Audio during flight for crash or incident investigation. DRU download the entire flight data through the USB/Ethernet interface to SSFDR. It shall also enable the analysis of data in both graphical and tabular analysis. Raw and engineering data both can be viewed during tabular analysis. Graphical analysis provides viewing of a maximum of four graphs at a time, in their engineering equivalent.

Specification

In earlier version of GRE, downloaded data was analyzed through tabular analysis. In
tabular analysis, data of complete sortie duration displays entirely. So, it is difficult to
analyses the data at particular time instant. It is also very difficult to observe the complete
behavior of parameter throughout the sortie duration. Hence, graphical representation of
parameter comes into the picture. Graph represents the behavior of particular parameter
throughout the sortie duration. This module will show a graphical representation of the
selected parameters. The user shall be provided an option for selecting the parameters
to be viewed, before showing the graph. In the graphical representation of discrete
parameters, there will be only two states. Initially, the graph will represent entire data
set. User is allowed to select zoom in / zoom out / time period for analysis of graph in
detail.
SUMMARY OF PRESENT INVENTION
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, it can be used in Graphical User
interface based in Ground Replay Equipment.
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, it can be easily accessible in any
form due to modular aspect.
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, it can be used for printing of graph
that can be easily accessible.
Annexure‐II
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Figure 1:
It shows the Block Diagram of DRU setup.
Figure-2:
The figure-2 shows the graphical representation of analog data. It is clear from the
graph the data is continuous in time. At a time, four graph can be displayed on the
screen. The value of data at particular time can be observed by moving the mouse at
that time. The tool tip will display, which contains the value of time and value of data.
On the X-axis time is displaying and on the Y axis maximum and minimum range will
display along with the parameter name.
Figure-3:
The figure-3 shows the graphical representation of discrete data. Since, it is discrete
data, it is discontinuous in time. It shows the value in two state i.e high and low. At a
time 16 graphs can be displayed on the screen. On the X-axis time is displaying and on
the Y axis parameter name is displaying.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The GUI is becoming popular and important in today era due to huge data flow in
industry. Graphical representation of parameter in GUI is most important tool for more
clarity of data and also less time consuming for understanding of huge data.
The graph of the selected parameter shows in Normal Plot. The user provides an option
for selecting the parameters to be viewed, before showing the graph. Graphical Plot is
plotted with respect to elapsed time. In the graphical representation of discrete
parameters, there are only two states. Initially, the graph will represent entire time
duration data .User is allowed to select zoom in / zoom out time period for analysis of
graph in details. The graph shows the name and range of the parameter to be displayed
on the Y-axis. On selecting graphical analysis, the user is asked to select the parameters
that user wants to display. User can select the parameters in different combinations.
Annexure‐II
The user can optionally specify the period of the graph to be displayed. User has to
select the time for which data has to be displayed.
There is an option of grouping of parameter to store the name of parameters during
graphical analysis. The selected parameter name is stored in text file. These text file can
be used during graphical analysis.
These graphs are saved with suitable format for viewing at a later stage. This graph can
be viewed later using the Load option. This graph can be loaded in GRE software to
analyses in future.
There is an option for printing the graph being analyzed by the User. The print option
shows the print preview of the graph before Printing.
