Abstract: GRE downloads entire flight data through suitable interface . It enables analysis of data in both graphical and tabular analysis.In graphical analysis,different type of parameters can be selected.These parameter name as a group can be saved and utilized for future analysis.

Grouping of parameter in GRE (Ground Replay Equipment)
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In earlier version of GRE, downloaded data was analyzed through tabular analysis and
graphical analysis. Graphical analysis displays the data of complete sortie duration. Each
time user has to select the same type or different type i.e analog, frequency, discrete and
ARINC-429 of parameter. So it is very difficult to select the parameter every time. Hence
grouping of same or different type of parameter for graphical representation comes into the
picture. Graph represents the behavior of particular parameter throughout the sortie
duration. This module will show the grouping of selected parameter of same type or
different type for graphical representation. The user will be provided an option for
selecting the grouping of parameters to be viewed, before showing the graph. In the
graphical representation of discrete parameters, there will be only two states. Initially,
the graph will represent entire data set. User is allowed to select zoom in / zoom out /
time period for analysis of graph in detail.
SUMMARY OF PRESENT INVENTION
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, it can be used in Graphical User
interface based project written in visual studio platform or higher.
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, it can be easily accessible in any
project because of code written in modular aspect.
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, it can be used for printing of graph
that can be accessible with any class.

Fig 2 shows the block diagram of parameter selection window. On this screen
there is an option of analysis button. User has to press graphical analysis button for
analyzing the graphical analysis of different type of parameters. User has to select the
different type of parameter. After that user has to click on ‘OK’ button.A message
window will come and show the message whether you want to “store this set”. If user
select ‘No’button, DRU window will show graphical representation of selected parameter
without restoring its name for future. The value of data at particular time can be
observed by moving the mouse at that time. The tool tip will display, which contains the
value of time and value of data. On the X-axis time is displaying and on the Y axis
maximum and minimum range will display along with the parameter name.

Fig 3 shows the block diagram of parameter selection window. User has to select
the different type of parameter. After that user has to click on ‘OK’ button. A message
window will come and show the message whether you want to “store this set”. If user
select ‘YES’ button, a window will appear and ask the file name in txt format. Selected
text(*.txt) file will be saved in the path “c\group\”. This file store the name and index of
selected parameter. If user has to analyse the same parameter which is saved the file,
user need not to select the parameter name. User has to select the saved file which
store the name and index of parameter. It is clear from the fig that there is window on
the fig name ‘Group plot’. User clicks on the ‘select group’ button. A window will appear
and ask the file selection. User has to select the file. The selected file name will appear
on ‘drop down box’. After that user has to click the ‘group plot’ button. DRU window will
show graphical representation of parameter which is stored in file. The value of data at
particular time can be observed by moving the mouse at that time. The tool tip will
display, which contains the value of time and value of data. On the X-axis time is
displaying and on the Y axis maximum and minimum range will display along with the
parameter name.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Graphical analysis is used for data representation. User can make the different
combinations of parameter for different analysis i.e. engine analysis, SIPU analysis,
control surface analysis, Temp analysis. These analysis can be done by selecting
different combination of parameter. These combinations can be stored in file. In future
for theses analysis can be done for different sortie by simply selecting these files. User
need not to remember and select these combination.
The GUI based project is becoming popular and important in today era due to huge data
flow in industry. Graphical representation of parameter of GUI based project is most
important tool for more clarity of data and also less time consuming for understanding of
huge data. There will be an option of grouping of parameter to store the name of
parameters during graphical analysis. The selected parameter name will remain be
stored in text file. These text file can be used during graphical analysis.
The graph of the selected parameter which is stored in *.txt file shows in Normal Plot.
The user will be provided an option for storing the selected parameters to be viewed in
txt file, before showing the graph. Graphical Plot will be plotted with respect to elapsed
time. In the graphical representation of discrete parameters, there will be only two
states. Initially, the graph will represent entire time duration data .User is allowed to
select zoom in / zoom out time period for analysis of graph in details. The graph will
show the name and range of the parameter to be displayed on the Y-axis.
On selecting graphical analysis, the user will be asked to select the parameters that user
wants to display. User can select the parameters in different combinations. These
combination are as follows:
[Others stand for Analog, Frequency, Internal & Arinc parameters]
- 4 Others
- 3 Others and 4 Discrete
- 2 Others and 8 Discrete
- 1 Others and 12 Discrete
- 16 Discrete
User will have following options
- Save Graph: This option will save the graph in printable format for future use
- Load Graph: This option will load the graph that was saved earlier.
- Zoom In/Out: This option will be available to zoom in and zoom out of graph.

explained)
Zoom Level 2 is the 13th time of Zoom Level 1.
Zoom Level 3 is the 26th time of Zoom Level 1.
Zoom Level 4 is the 52nd time of Zoom Level 1.
Zoom Level 5 is the 104th time of Zoom Level 1.
- View: Graph can be viewed in tile or cascade form.
- Time Selection: The user can also select the time duration for which the plot
is required

Accordingly, the description of the present invention is to be considered as illustrative only and is for the purpose of teaching those skilled in the art of the best mode of carrying out the invention. The details may be varied substantially without departing from the spirit of the invention, and exclusive use of all modifications which are within the scope of the appended claims is reserved. We Claim that

1. The said invention, comprising
- A generic computing device with display running with a suitable GRE routine,
- A printing device
- Looms and cable for connecting UUT &
- A battery pack.

2. The system according to claim 1, wherein atleast one type of grouping of parameter for Graphical representation shows the exact value of data at particular time.

3. The system according to claim 1, wherein grouping of different or same type of parameter is possible.

4. The system according to claim 1, wherein Graphical User Interface (GUI) of grouping of parameter for Graphical representation is used to verify the downloaded data.

5. The system according to claim 1, wherein grouping of parameter for Graphical Representation detect the following analysis of data
• Exceedance of analog parameter value at particular time.
• Warning for discrete parameter.
• Comparison of different type of aircraft parameter for different sortie. ,TagSPECI:As per Annexure-II
