GYROSCOPIC DEVICE TO BE RIDDEN BY HUMAN RIDER
FIELD OF THE INVENTION :
The present invention relates to field of amusement and entertainment. More particularly it relates to amusement device specially designed for entertainment and amusement leisure. Most particularly it relates to amusement device based on gyroscopic principle.
PRIOR ART :
In the field of activity devoted to amusement, appreciable attention has been given to apparatus commonly described as exciting rides. These can be exemplified, for example, as roller coasters, Ferris Wheels, water chutes, and merry go rounds, to mention few suitable for groups of people. Other devices are those test skill and ability of single individuals, as may be exemplified by ring tossing, dart throwing, golf practice, shooting ranges, and gymnastic apparatus of various kinds.
But all these devices are having following drawbacks;
i They have limited excitement.
ii There is restriction of age of the user for using such devices.
Hence there is a need of new kind of amusement apparatus with high degree of excitement and suitable for almost all age groups.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION :
The main object of this invention is to provide a new amusement device which gives the high degree of excitement and suitable for almost all age groups.

Yet another object of this invention is to provide a new amusement device which is simple in construction.
Yet another object of this invention is to provide a new amusement device which is easy to operate and maintain.
Yet another object of this invention is to provide a new amusement device which provides wide range of motion to give thrill to the user of the device.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION :
Accordingly to achieve the aforesaid objects present invention provides a gyroscopic device to be ridden by a human rider comprising :
Supporting structure;
a ring assembly comprising inner ring and outer ring, the outer ring being rotatably mounted about a first axis on said supporting structure, the inner ring being rotatably mounted about a second axis in the outer ring such that the rotation of outer ring causes the rotation of inner ring;
a seat to be occupied by the rider of the gyroscopic device, the seat being mounted on a inner ring such that center of gravity of said seat is imbalanced; and
driving mechanism for driving said outer ring,
wherein the rotation of said outer ring causes rotation of inner ring and as the said seat on a inner ring is mounted in a position that shift center of the gravity of inner ring, the person sitting on the seat starts rotating randomly in different planes, which gives him a thrill of experiencing weightlessness using the principle of the gyroscope.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS :
Figure 1 : Shows the gyroscopic device to be ridden by a human rider in accordance to present invention.
Figure 2 : Shows top view of the gyroscopic device to be ridden by a human rider in accordance to present invention.
Figure 3 : Shows front view of the gyroscopic device to be ridden by a human rider in accordance to present invention.
Figure 4 : Shows side view of the gyroscopic device to be ridden by a human rider in accordance to present invention.
Figure 5 : Show different kind of motions to be experienced by the rider in to 8 running condition of the gyroscopic device of present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION :
The above, and the other objects, features & advantages of invention will become apparent from following description read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
List of the reference numerals used in the drawings is as follow :

1 Gyroscopic device
2 Stand
3 Base
4 Arms
5 Outer ring

6 Inner ring
7 Bearing assembly
8 Bearing assembly
9 Seat
10 Driving assembly
11 Seat belt
12 Steering type structure
13 Food rest
Referring to figure 1, the gyroscopic device (1) to be ridden by the human rider comprises stand (2), outer ring (5), inner ring (6), seat (9) and driving assembly (10).
The stand (2) consists of base (3) and two vertical arms (4) extending from the ends of the base (3). The main function of the stand (2) is to provide support to the outer ring (5).
The outer ring (5) is rotatably mounted about "X" axis on the stand (2). The outer ring (5) is connected to the vertical arms (4) with the help of bearing assembly (7). The diameter of outer ring (5) is always more than the diameter of the inner ring (6). The diameter of outer ring ranges from 2 to 4 meters. Preferably it is 2.21 meters.
The inner ring (6) is rotatably mounted about a "Y" axis in the outer ring (5). The mounting of inner ring (6) is done with the help of bearing assembly (8). The diameter of inner ring ranges from 1.5 to 3.5 meters. Preferably it is 1.86 meters.
A seat (9) is provided for the rider which is mounted on inner ring (6). The seat is in the form of chair capable of accommodating single person. The seat (9) is not limited only to the form of chair for single person but it may be of another form and for more than one person. The seat (9) is mounted on inner ring (6) such that center of gravity of the seat (9) is unbalanced. A seat belt (11) is attached to the seat (9) to avoid the falling of the rider during riding.

The driving assembly (10) including electric motor and "V" belt is provided to drive the outer ring (5). The driving assembly (10) is mounted on the stand (2). Further to experience the full riding effect a steering type structure (12) is provided on inner ring (6). The foot rest (13) is also provided on inner ring (5). The various parts of the gyroscopic device are preferably made of light weight corrosion proof material/metals or are provide with anti corrosive treatment/painting or coating so as to provide long shelf life. Mainly the whole structure is made of steel.
WORKING OF THE GYROSCOPIC DEVICE :
The gyroscopic device (1) is specially designed for entertainment and amusement leisure. As the outer ring (5) is rotated with the help of driving assembly (10), it gives movement to the inner ring (6), which starts rotation of inner ring (6). However as the seat (9) on a inner ring (6) is mounted in a position that shifts center of gravity of inner ring (6). The person sitting on the seat (9) starts rotating randomly in different planes, which gives him a thrill of experiencing weightlessness using the principle of gyroscope.
The device (1) provides a ride which is based on gyroscopic principle. The ride can be made to operate and gave him thrill of weightlessness while in motion in a controlled and safe environment. A motorized mechanism (10) is used to spin the outer ring (6). The person riding it is placed in such a way that the center of gravity of the inner ring (5) is eccentric. With this simple mechanism the rider enjoys a sense at weightlessness and thrill.
According to one embodiment of the present invention the typical technical specification of the gyroscopic device are as follow :
