Specification

Description:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of hair styling device. In particular the present disclosure provides an integrated hair nourishment applicator and hair styling tool for massaging, untangling and styling hair.

BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed disclosure, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Traditionally, hair nourishing materials like oil, shampoo, conditioner, gel and the likes are applied manually by fingers followed by massaging, untangling and styling the hair using a comb. However, an integrated device for hair nourishment applicator and hair styling tool would be beneficial for uniform application of nourishment from roots to tip of hair, minimizing wastage of hair nourishing materials, maintaining hygiene and mess-free mixing of necessary amounts of one or more nourishing materials.
[0004] Existing literature discloses a liquid dispensing comb comprising an oil filled reservoir that is adapted to expel the oil when compressed and dispense the oil through a set of teeth of the comb. Another liquid dispensing comb describes a deformable reservoir storing oil and an oil distribution channel accommodated inside the body of the comb. An oil dispensing and beard styling tool has also been disclosed. Another disclosure describes a comb having pneumatically operated oil reservoir and a set of teeth with apertures along the sides for oil disposal. However, the disclosed devices do not propose an integrated refillable storage and disposal of multiple hair nourishing materials and a mechanism for unidirectional and controlled flow of hair nourishment onto the user’s hair through the teeth of the comb.
[0005] Hence there is need in the art to develop a low cost, portable and integrated hair nourishment applicator and hair styling tool that can dispense one or more different types of nourishment simultaneously and enable mixing and applying the one or more nourishing materials uniformly in a mess free, wastage free fashion. The proposed applicator and tool also helps to maintain hygiene by avoiding contaminating the nourishing materials.
