Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION

The invention generally relate to a two wheeled vehicle and more particularly to headlamp assembly of the two wheeled vehicle.

BACKGROUND

Generally, headlamp is mounted in the housing headlamp front by fasteners, visor is attached with the housing headlamp front by fasteners, and housing headlamp rear is assembled by means of L bracket which acts as a sandwich between the housing headlamp front and the bracket comp headlamp by rubber cushions and fasteners. This bracket comp headlamp in turn is attached with the front fork of a motorcycle by means of rubber cushions. In this construction, fasteners are secured along lateral and longitudinal direction of vehicle for adjustment of housing headlamp front, rear and bracket comp head lamp. For any kind of headlamp servicing, housing headlamp front, rear and bracket has to be removed by loosening mentioned fasteners and dismantling whole arrangement resulting in difficulty in serviceability of the head lamp in the production line and in service. This will result on low productivity and higher serving time.

Hence there is a need to overcome the above problem which will facilitate easy servicing in field and in
production.

SUMMARY

Main objective of the present invention is to provide a headlamp assembly for a two wheeled vehicle having a front headlamp casing defined by a front housing member and a head lamp visor unit integrated with each other such that said front housing member is housing a headlamp unit in its centre and securing at least a first mounting bracket on bottom part of it and a rear head lamp casing defined by a rear head lamp cover having a display unit slot housing a display unit, multiple illumination lamp mountings and multiple mounting brackets used for mounting a supporting structure such that integrated head lamp assembly is pivotally rotatable around joint of the first mounting bracket and a adjusting bracket secured over said support structure.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The present invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description given herein below and the accompanying drawing which is incorporated in and constitute embodiments of the invention, illustrate several aspects of the invention and together with a description of the embodiments serve to explain the principles of the invention and thus, are not limited of the present invention and a brief description of the drawing is as follows:

Figure 1 is depicting a two wheeled vehicle showing the mounting arrangement of the headlamp assembly.

Figure 2 is showing exploded view of front head lamp casing of claimed headlamp assembly.

Figure 3 is showing exploded view of rear head lamp casing of claimed headlamp assembly.

Figure 4 is showing exploded view of mounting arrangement of front head lamp casing with the supporting structure.

Figure 5 is showing exploded view of the claimed headlamp assembly.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The embodiments disclosed below are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed in the following detailed description. Rather, the embodiments are chosen and described for enablement purpose of the invention. The invention may have application to all types of vehicles. The scope of the invention is entirely based upon the claims provided.

Figure 1 is showing a two wheeled vehicle 001 with the mounting arrangement of the headlamp assembly. Mentioned headlamp assembly is mounted over vertical support structure 115 which is connected with the front suspension system 002 connected with the front wheel 004. A front fender 003 is covering front wheel 004. Said headlamp assembly has a front headlamp housing 102, a visor unit 101 and a head lamp unit 107.

Further, reference is made to Figure 2 showing embodiments of front head lamp casing where a front housing member 102 is having a headlamp cavity 103 to secure a head lamp unit 107. Said front housing
member 102 is attached with a head lamp visor unit 101 such that visor unit 101 is sitting on the top of front housing member 102 and acting as a top shade for headlamp unit 107. A set of mountings stays 105 is provided in the lower part of the front housing member 102 such that a first mounting bracket 106 can be fixed to it.

All embodiments of the front headlamp casing Figure 3 are integrated with each other in such a way that during replacement of servicing of the headlamp 107, it acts as a single unit.

Further the reference is made to Figure 3, where embodiments of rear head lamp casing are disclosed. Said rear head lamp casing has a rear head lamp cover 111 with a display unit slot 110 on the top portion of it, where the display unit 109 is fixed.

Said rear head lamp cover 111 has side illumination lamp slots 113 on its width wise sides such that side illumination lamps 108 or turn signal lamps can be fixed. Further said rear headlamp cover 111 has mounting slots 113 on left and right side for mounting of a support structure 112 as shown in Figure 4.
Said support structure 112 is fixed to mounting slots 113 through fixture unit 114 such as screws through second mounting brackets 116 fixed on upper portion of said support structure 112. Mentioned support structure 112 has two parallel vertical units 115 connected to each other through two horizontal units 117,118.

As shown in Figure 5, lower horizontal unit 118 of said support structure 112 is connected to an adjusting bracket 119 used for fixation of lower portion of rear head lamp casing Figure 3 and the front head lamp casing Figure 4 through first mounting bracket 106 and mounting slots 105.

Described mounting arrangement of front head lamp casing Figure 2 and the rear head lamp casing Figure 3 through the first mounting bracket 106 is such that it is working as a single unit especially in replacement or serving of head lamp unit 107 and can be removed as a single unit from the vehicle.

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS

1) A headlamp assembly for a two wheeled vehicle comprising

a front headlamp casing defined by a front housing member and a head lamp visor unit integrated with each other such that said front housing member is configured to house a headlamp unit in its centre and to secure at least a first mounting bracket on bottom part of it; and

a rear head lamp casing defined by a rear head lamp cover having a display unit slot configured to house a display unit, a plurality of side illumination lamp mountings and a plurality of second mounting brackets configured to facilitate mounting of a supporting structure such that integrated head lamp assembly is pivotally rotatable around joint of the first mounting bracket and a adjusting bracket secured over said support structure.

2) The headlamp assembly for a two wheeled vehicle wherein the front headlamp casing and the rear headlamp casing are integrated with each other forming a single unit.

3) The headlamp assembly for a two wheeled vehicle, substantially as herein described with reference to, and as illustrated in, the accompanying drawings.
