Abstract: HTM (Health Tech Machine) machine is an integrated machine that enables and individual to excess basic health checkup facility, video conferencing facility and paper report upload facility with help of paramedic staff. It’s a two-screen machine mounted at 120 degree apart where left screen machine is dedicated to paramedic to control the backhand processing and right screen is dedicated to user for information display. As soon an individual get register with HTM will instantly issue personalized HTM card enable with RFID technology. This card will be printed witha unique HTM ID that will be used to excess medical health record saved in cloud for personal and professional by the individual. Basic health checkup includes basic vital screening which include height, weight, spo2, pulse rate, blood pressure, body temperature, lung capacity, glucose level, hemoglobin level utilizing authentic technology. All these captured vitals will be saved in cloud account of individual. Video conferencing service enable user to interact with Doctor siting at remote location and get an authentic prescription with digital signature. Remote doctor can excess to heart beat of individual through digital stethoscope and skin or injure images utilizing digital microscope and can also book appointment for further assistance. Upload paper report option facilitates user to upload their previous medical record in form of paper as electronic record which can be shared by medical professionals in future. HTM is enable to save all activities on cloud, it can collect cash to avail different service, can print encode personalized Myfare RFID cared, can capture the user photo instantly, blood group testing can be done at HTM, it has refrigerated cabin to store consumables for medical purpose for long period, having storage area to store cleansing agents, have dedicated keyboards to input information etc. HTM is empowered by software named as “AHS- Affordable Healthcare System” which enable it to provide multiple facilities. AHS fetch all information from HTM and push to cloud in their respective logins.
PREAMBLE OF THE INVENTION:
The core purpose of the invention is to facilitate healthcare services by way of high
tech machine facilitating interaction between user and doctor sitting at two different
places. Through HTM machine, the users will be able to get authentic prescriptions
from the doctors sitting at a distance in same city or otherwise. HTM machine will
act as an interface between user’s place and doctor’s place. This would be major
breakthrough in the field of healthcare by way of providing authentic OPD facilities
at places other than hospitals and doctor’s clinics and also during rest of the hours
of the day when OPDs are not working.
TECHNICAL FIELD:
HTM machine is interactive machine aimed at facilitating healthcare services
through use of medical electronics. It proposes to extend OPD services through
distant consulting with the help of IT enabled technological hardware. Additional
screen is for para- medical staff to extend desired support during diagnosis of basic
vitals – collection of blood sample; sample synchronization for analysis; generation
of reports of basic vitals.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Presently OPD facilities are available primarily at the place where doctors are
physically present. OPD facilities are available at pre-fixed hours (3-4 hours) in the
morning and in the evening. The OPDs are full in private as well as in government
hospitals. Few tech interfaces are available where users can interact with doctors
through computer screens but they don’t provide testing of basic vitals and other
authentic services desired by users, hence, play very limited role in extending OPD
facility at a place other than doctor’s place.
SUMMARYUSAGE OF INVENTION
HTM aims at providing facilities including(i) Basic Vitals Testing; (ii) Physical History
Records & Scanning of Written Reports; (iii) Tele / Video Conferencing; (iv) Digitally
Signed Prescriptions with printing facility; (v) Appointment booking with medical
professional;(vi) Dispensing of HTM Card (vii) Home delivery of medicines. HTM can
be installed at convenient places with footfall potential. HTM can be placed at (i)
Counters of Chemist Shop / Diagnostic centers (ii) Corners in Waiting Hall of
Hospitals. (iii) Mobile Vans to be used during medical health check up camp, etc.
(iv) Outer periphery of the cities; suburban areas lacking medical facilities; remote
villages; difficult geographical terrains.
The proposed invention has potential to become disruptive technology and facilitate
outreach of quality medical facilities at a place nearer to user at lesser cost.
Advantages of the Invention
Following are the benefits of invention to:-
1. Hospital Industry
• Extension Counter – Low cost – Supported by Doctor’s team at Main
Hospital
• Increase in Revenue – As a result of increased efficiency of doctors – due
to less time per user in OPD.
• Cheaper Free Medical Check Up Camps (FMCC) – reduction in number of
persons and medicos required for FMCC
• Doctor free Mobile Van for interior areas and difficult geographical terrains
– Online consulting by Doctors through Cloud Computing
• Filtering for IPD
2. Users
• HTM Card – A onetime process. Once the user enters basic details the
machine will generate and dispense a Card along with password (Just like
OPD card) and the same will be used by the user every time he/she uses
the machine.
• Door Step Medical Facilities – No need to visit Hospitals / nursing homes /
clinics for OPD services. The user needs to visit only nearby HTM kiosk.
• Longer Duration OPD Facilities – Interaction possible even during Non-OPD
hours.
• Online Consultancy – Instant tele/video conferencing with medical
professional with current parameters.
• Digitally Signed Prescription and printing of the same in HTM Kiosk.
• Appointment – Instant appointment can be done if needed.
• Safe custody of Medical History/records on Cloud – Each and every detail of
user including basic vitals and reports will be preserved.
3. Doctors
• Reduction in per user time taken in OPD.
• More Income in OPD timings - due to potential to attend more users per hour.
• Saving in travel time of OPD Doctors.
4. Pharmacy
• Enable Pharmacist to prescribe medicine against authentic prescription.
• Increase customer footfall as empowered with HTM.
5. Medical Insurance Industry
• Enables insurance companies to excess authentic medical history of
individual.
• Will help companies to frame personalize medical insurance policies for
group of people.
6. Ayurveda
• HTM empowers Ayurveda latest medical technology.
• Will help in increase of ayurvedic medicines.
• Enable mix medicine concept.
7. Other Stakeholders
• Diagnostic & Pharmacy Industry: - Increased efficiency of Doctors will
result in increased revenue for the connected industry i.e. Diagnostics and
Pharmacy Industries.
• Government Mission - Health for all: Possibility of better medical facilities in
interiors and in outskirts of cities as medicos are reluctant to move to rural
postings.
STATEMENT OF THE INVENTION
