Heat Shielding Thermal Insulation Coating Composition

Abstract: Provided is a heat-shielding thermal insulation coating composition capable of forming a coating film that has sufficient adhesiveness with respect to a base material and excellent heat-shielding thermal insulation characteristics. The heat-shielding thermal insulation coating composition includes: an aqueous emulsion of an acrylic ester-styrene copolymerization product or an acrylic ester-methacrylic ester-styrene copolymerization product in a range of 35-50 mass% with respect to the total amount of the coating composition; a rutile-type titanium dioxide in a range of 20-30 mass%; and acrylic hollow beads in a range of 5-20 mass%.
