Helmet Mounted Eye Gaze Tracker
Abstract: HELMET-MOUNTED EYE GAZE TRACKER An eye gaze estimation technique and a helmet mounted eye gaze tracker is provided. To determine an output gaze point, at least one eye image for each eye is obtained from a helmet mounted eye gaze tracker, where the helmet mounted eye gaze tracker is worn by a user. The at least one image for each eye is sent to a Convoluted Neural Network CNN backbone eye channel and a CNN backbone an attention branch channel to obtain a first intermediate processed image and a second intermediate processed image, respectively. The first intermediate processed image and the second intermediate processed image are fused to obtain a first output. The first output is passed through a plurality of Global Average Pooling layers and fully connected layers to obtain a single output vector, based on which an output gaze point is determined.
