Herbal Energy Drink Formulation And A Process For The Preparation Thereof
Abstract: A herbal energy drink formulation and a process for the preparation thereof is disclosed. According to the invention 7.5 to 10 % by weight Sea buckthorn pulp, 11.5 to 15.5 % by weight Apple pulp and 0.09 to 0.1 % by weight Brahmi pulp are mixed together at room temperature. 75 - 85 % by weight water is then added and the mixture is heated at 25 - 35° C for 25 - 35 minutes. Then 11 to 13 % by weight Sugar is added under heating to obtain herbal energy drink formulation. The herbal energy drink so obtained is subjected to the steps of pasteurization at 80 to 90° C and then filling in to bottles to obtain bottled herbal energy drink.
