An Improved good sleeping syrup formulation and composition process is without the following carcinogenic ingredients which having several disadvantages: -
EDTA:-It has been shown to enhance the dermal penetration of other ingredients contained in a product. Thus, cosmetic formulators must exercise caution when combining it with other ingredients potentially harmful if absorbed by the skin. Furthermore, some studies suggest that disodium EDTA is weakly mutagenic (probably due to the fact that it binds with metals required for healthy cell division.). The other point is that EDTA builds upcomplexes in the environment that are not biologically degradable.
Parabens (preservative):- The Cosmetics, Toiletries and Perfumery Association released a statement in response to the bad press parabens were receiving after a study by P.D. Darbre was published that suggested paraben usage could be connected to breast cancer. They declared: “Parabens are officially approved for use under the Cosmetics Directive (76/768/EEC), the European legislation that regulates all cosmetics and toiletries. We can reassure the public that all cosmetic and toiletry products containing parabens may continue to be used safely.” Despite this, many people still have doubts and the parabens get a very bad press. The claim “paraben free” becomes a real USP on the market. The EU Commission banned the use of five other parabens incosmetic products - Isopropylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Phenylparaben, Benzylparaben and Pentylparaben (See Commission Regulation (EU) No 358/2014) due to the lack of data necessary for reassessment. Products placed on the market after 30 October 2014 will have to befree from these substances.
