Specification

Field of Invention
The present invention relates to novel herbal personal care compositions especially to
body, skin, hair, nails (hands and feet) in the form of solutions, creams or oils for external
application.
The present invention also relates to a method for improving the appearance of the body
in general, which are not just cosmetic but holistic approaches which cleanse both the
body as well the mind from within.
More particularly, the present invention relates to a proactive method for improving
appearance of the body such that there is a visual difference before and after application
of the method.
Background of the invention
As longevity is increasing, there is constant pressure on the aging population to maintain their physical well being. People not only want to live longer but expect to indulge in their passions and yet maintain active lifestyles well into their 90s. An integral part of physical well being is having a good body and looking good. This by itself causes a sense of feeling good and increases the individual's confidence manifold. Ancient philosophers believed that living and working with nature keep the body and mind in balance and harmony.
According to Ayurvedic philosophy, human body has three universal forces at work, Vain (air), Pita (fire) and Kappa (earth). These are called dashes and each individual has ;-unique pattern of energy corresponding to these dashes. The combination of physical, mental and emotional characteristics determines an individual's inherent constitution. When an environment is created such that it is nourishing to all the senses, the body's own inner healing is at work. In today's competitive world humans continuously experience undesirable things in their environment which constantly cause stress. A holistic approach is required to allow one to rediscover one's own body and inspire one to look towards inner tranquility.
Herbal compositions are preferred since they are natural and cause minimal side effects and available from known plants and herbs.
In the field of personal care compositions, the user population is often classified by the following types, e.g., dry, normal, oily, etc. The compositions have to be therefore modified according to the user constitution as well as the skin or hair type in order to be effective and to obtain the desired results.
Objective of the Invention
An objective of the present invention is to provide herbal personal care compositions for
external application to improve the appearance of body, skin, hair and nails (hands and
feet) of a person.
A further objective of the invention is to provide the personal care compositions which
are modified to suit the needs of individual person.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a method for improving the
appearance of the body in general, in not just a cosmetic but holistic way to cleanse both
the body as well the mind from within.
It is also an objective of the invention to provide a method for promoting personal well
being and appearance by applying appropriate amounts of said compositions externally.
