DESC:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The invention relates to a holder unit for a two-wheeled vehicle. More particularly, the holder unit is configured to be mounted on a frame of the two-wheeled vehicle.
BACKGROUND
[0002] With the development of science and technology, use of portable electronic devices including the use of many varieties of smart phones, MP3 players, mobile cell phones, navigation devices, etc. has greatly increased. For instance, mobile phones are used for a verbal communication function, an e-mail sending and receiving function and also as a navigation function. Generally, these portable electronic devices including the mobile phones are typically powered by rechargeable batteries which needs to be charged regularly once the power of the rechargeable battery drains out below a threshold level. In view of this, a charging slot is provided in the vehicle, thereby enabling the user of the vehicle to use their portable electronic devices in conjunction with their vehicles.
[0003] In a known two-wheeled vehicle, the charging slot in the form of a USB device is mounted in the vehicle for the purpose of providing the user of the vehicle to charge the electronic device while operating the vehicle. However, such electronic charging facility in the form of the USB device is electrically connected to a vehicle battery through at least one wiring harness. Hence, increasing the number of wiring harnesses on the vehicle. Moreover, the mounting of the USB device on the vehicle requires additional components as fasteners including bolts and screws to secure USB device on the vehicle. Hence, increasing the overall cost and parts on the vehicle.
[0004] Hence, it is desirable to provide an improved structure for the two-wheeled vehicle which can support at least one electrical device including USB device, headlamp controller unit etc. on the vehicle ,which can be cost-effective, less time consuming, requires less effort and reduced assembling time on the vehicle.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0005] This invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
[0006] Fig.1 is a left side view of a two-wheeled vehicle with a holder unit being detachably secured to a vehicle frame as per one embodiment of the present invention.
[0007] Fig.2 is a front perspective view of the holder unit with at least one supporting arm and at least one mounting arm in one embodiment of the present invention.
[0008] Fig.3 is a rear perspective view of the holder unit with said at least one supporting arm and said at least one mounting arm in one embodiment of the present invention;
[0009] Fig.4 is an exploded view of the holder unit on a portion of the two-wheeled vehicle frame.
[00010] Although the characteristic features of this invention will be particularly pointed out in the claims, the invention itself, and the manner in which it may be made and used, may be better understood by referring to the following description taken in connection with the accompanying figures forming a part thereof.
[00011] The detailed description is described with reference to the accompanying figures. The same numbers are used throughout the drawings to reference like features and components.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[00012] Due to the growing number of electrical and electronic components in motor vehicles, and particularly in a two-wheeled vehicle, vehicle electrical systems including electrical devices and components are becoming increasingly complex. Since, electrical devices and components including a headlamp controller unit, Electronic Control Unit (ECU), Transistor Controlled Ignition, USB device etc. installed in the vehicle are required to be connected to the vehicle battery, therefore, the installation and mounting of the electrical devices and components involves plurality of wiring harnesses. Furthermore, the mounting of one or more electrical devices requires substantial amount of time and effort to assemble it on vehicle through fastener members in the form of screws and bolt thus increasing overall cost of the vehicle.
[00013] Conventionally, said at least one electrical component including the USB device for the purpose of charging mobile phones is provided either beside an ignition lock, arranged at left or right sides of an instrument panel display portion, inside a utility box or under a seat assembly. However, the vehicle battery mounted at different location, for instance at the centre of the vehicle may involve the plurality of wiring harness for connecting with the USB device. Additionally, such locations for the USB device is much more prone to high splashing water, mud, sand, dust or rain. Furthermore, said at least one electrical component including the transistor controlled ignition and the headlamp controller unitare mounted under the seat assembly and on a frame of two-wheeled vehicle. Hence, involving plurality of electrical wiring and harnesses for connecting said at least one electrical component including the transistor controlled ignition and the headlamp controller unit with the vehicle battery.
[00014] With the above objectives in view, the present invention relates to a modified structure for a vehicle, more particularly to the two wheeled vehicle for easy mounting of at least one electrical component on the vehicle which is cost-effective, requires less effort and in addition involves less number of components and less assembling time on the vehicle.
[00015] The present invention provides a holder unit for the two-wheeled wheeled configured to support said at least one electrical component including a headlamp controller unit, Electronic Control Unit (ECU), Transistor Controlled Ignition (TCI), the USB device etc. According to one embodiment of the present invention, said at least one electrical component including the USB device and the Transistor Controlled Ignition (TCI) can be secured in a single unit. In one embodiment, said holder unit includes at least one supporting arm and at least one mounting arm and said at least one supporting arm is integrally formed with said at least one mounting arm. In one embodiment of the present invention, said at least one supporting arm includes a first slot being configured to support a USB socket and said side supporting projection being adapted to support said at least one electrical component. As per one embodiment said at least one electrical component includes the head lamp controller and the Transistor Controlled Ignition (TCI) As per one embodiment of the present invention, said rear frame of the vehicle body frame for the two-wheeled vehicle includes a pair of left and right seat rails supporting a vehicle seat assembly. As per one embodiment of the present invention, said holder unit is detachably secured to said at least a portion of said pair of right and left seat rails. hence, with such mounting of holder unit to said at least a portion of the rear frame of the vehicle body frame, the USB device and said at least one electrical component of a plurality of electrical components of the electrical system of the vehicle is prevented from dust, water and mud splashes. Additionally, a space-saving arrangement as well as reduction of wiring harness in the two-wheeled vehicle can be achieved.
[00017] Further, in one embodiment of the present invention, said at least one mounting arm is configured for detachably mounting said holder unit to said at least a portion of the rear frame through at least one mounting member. As per one embodiment of the present invention, said at least one mounting arm includes at least one mounting hole adapted to receive said at least one mounting member for detachably securing the holder unit to said at least a portion of the rear frame of the vehicle body frame. As per one embodiment of the present invention, said at least one mounting member is a locater, said at least one fastener including bolts, screws etc.
[00018] As per one embodiment of the present invention, said at least one electrical component including the headlamp controller unit and Transistor Controlled Ignition (TCI) can be secured to said holder unit by a rubber strap mounting mechanism. In one embodiment, said at least one electrical component can be supported in the side projection with the help of rubber strap or boot. Hence, eliminating the use of at least one fasteners including bolts and screws for detachably securing said at least one electrical component on the vehicle.
[00019] It is advantageous to provide the holder unit for the two-wheeled vehicle for mounting said at least one electrical component to the vehicle through at least one mounting member.
