Abstract: The present invention relates to a hollow fiber membrane including a micropore layer, a coarse-pore layer, and a strength retention layer. In a cross section of the membrane that is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction thereof, the micropore layer, the coarse-pore layer, and the strength retention layer are arranged in this order from the inner side of the hollow fiber membrane, and the porosity of the hollow fiber membrane as a whole is 60% to 75%.
