The following specification particularly describes the nature of the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.

The present invention relates to HOT ASPHALT DRUM MIX PLANT, the
plant relates to the apparatus and methods of producing hot asphalt mix paving material. The asphalt mixing plant for making asphalt paving mix-having mineral aggregate supplying and heating a mixer for receiving the heated mineral aggregate and binder supplying means including heating for introducing heated binder such as bitumen into the mixer.

In accordance with current environmental protection efforts, demands are made on the highway construction and repair industry to use equipment, which complies with environmental requirements. At the same time the equipment needs to produces quality highway paving materials in an efficient manner. The mixing of the constituent martial typically takes place at elevated temperatures. In the convention process asphalt materials are produced in both continuous drying
processes and in batch processes. In continuous mixing processes, co material with different sizes is dumped in the four high-rise hopers. are rise at high position so; it requires more time and consumes more fuel to Load it. Also the dryer unit is rise at high position. The dryer unit is consist with drum which rotate about axes, disposed typically at a slight incline from the horizontal and which are typically equipped with an open flame burner and a blower at one end. The long length drum creates vibrations in it so, breakdown is occurred in it and it requires more maintains in it. The inside surface of such drum:; are further equipped with spaced sets of flight which lift the material and dump i: in a falling curtain of the particulate material which exposes it to the hot gases emanating from the burner. The asphalt tank has slow heating coil system but it's temperature is very low so; it consume high fuel to heat the asphalt material and taking more time to heat the paving material. To overcome such difficulty hot asphalt drum mix plant is invented with unique design.

The present invention is described with great specific and clarity with reference to following drawings:
Fig. 1 represents the elevation view of the four-bin plant. Fig.2 represents the elevation view of the dryer unit Fig.3 represents the elevation view of the asphalt tank. Fig.4 represent the elevation view of the filler unit.
The hot asphalt drum mix plant consists four units (i) four-bin unit, (ii) dryer unit, (iii) asphalt tank and (iv) filler unit. Four-bin unit is represents in Fig.l consists chassis (1), hopper (2), door (3), hopper belt (4), gathering belt (5) wherein cold aggregate materials with different size (as per requires) is dumped in low-rise hopper (2). Cold aggregate materials flow from door (3) of all bins with different size material with variable speed, which is controlled by the doors provided at the downside of the all bins. Total aggregate materials will dump on gathering belt (5) and it is fitted on bottom level of cold aggregate bin feeder. The gathering conveyor belt (5) is moves with total flow through and screened by vibratory screening (6) for over sized materials. Then total and actual materials will go to cold conveyor belt (7) as shown in Fig.2. The cold conveyor belt (7) is mounted on the cold conveyor (8). Now the cold conveyor belt (7) system dumped with total flow in the rotating drum (9) for aggregate heating process. In dryer unit motor rotates drum (9) with fuel burner (10) and aggregate will heated as per requirement and the mix materials reach up to half length of the rotating drum (9). Guide roller (11) and two-support rollers (12) are mounted on chassis (13) of dryer 'unit to provide batter support and vibration free motion to the rotating drum (9). The rotating drum (9) is also guide by- the guide ring (14). Sprocket ring (15) is mounted on the chassis (13) to provide better support to the drum (9). Chamber (16) is connected with drum (9) of the dryer unit. Exhaust (18) and chimney (19)
3

)

are connected with dust collector (17). At the same time asphalt tank (25) as shown in Fig.3 heat the, asphalt (bitumen). The asphalt tank is fitted with a fuel burner (10) for heating of asphalt (bitumen) and then the heated asphalt materials (liquid foam) is spared as per the requirements it will go in to the rotating drum (9). Asphalt tank (25) and LDO (Low diesel oil) tank (26) unit is mounted on the chassis (29). Heating coil (20) is providing better heating surface to heatj the asphalt (bitumen) material inside the rotating drum (9). Exhaust Fan exhaust fine dust of aggregate and burner smoker to the chimney (19). Tank door (33) is position at the top of the asphalt tank (25) to clean it. Filler unit is separately shown in Fig.4 consists with hopper (30), rotary valve (31), butter fry valve (32) and 'T' connection (34) wherein whole unit is mounted near the dryer unit. It is working for storage of lime/dust/cement filler line and spraying on heated aggregate in the drum (9) up to the process of mix materials. Then the mix material will come at the down stage of the hot conveyor belt (21) due to the gravitational force thought the door which was provided on the rotating drum. Then the mix material was loaded on the output hopper (22). The hot conveyor belt (21) is mounted on the hot conveyor (23). When the hot mix asphalt paving material is stored in the output hopper (22) then the dumper is take under this output hopper (22) and output hopper (22) is opens with the help of hopper jack (24). The fully loaded dumper of heated mix materials carry where the required of road laying.
