Image Analysis Method, Image Analysis Device, Program, And Recording Medium

Abstract: Provided are an image analysis method, an image analysis device, a program, and a recording medium that make it possible to accurately estimate, using image signal values of color charts, an image signal value of an object colored with a specific color material. The present invention comprises: acquiring spectral properties of an object colored with a specific color material; acquiring spectral properties of each of a plurality of color charts including a plurality of colors formed by color materials different from the specific color material; approximating the spectral properties of the object in accordance with an approximation formula including the spectral properties of each of the plurality of color charts as variables; capturing an image of each of the plurality of color charts using an image capture device, and thus acquiring, for each of the color charts, an image signal value corresponding to the color of the captured image; and estimating, on the basis of the image signal value acquired for each of the color charts and the approximation formula, an image signal value to be acquired when an image of the object is captured using the image capture device.
