Abstract: Provided is an image display device including a high frame rate signal generating unit (20) that increases a frame rate of an input video signal, a frame rate adjusting unit (30) that adjusts a frame rate by setting a non-emission frame at a predetermined cycle on a high frame rate video signal output from the high frame rate signal generating unit (20), and a display panel (40) that displays a video based on a video signal output from the frame rate adjusting unit (30).
