Image Processing Device And Method
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an image processing device and method that make it possible to process the pictures of a plurality of views in parallel. Although lower four lines in an LCU require waiting for a loop filter four lines up from the four lines waiting for the loop filter are also required for an interpolation filter for a motion compensation. Accordingly when the encoding of a dependent view is delayed with respect to the encoding of a base view by two lines referring from the dependent view is possible until (LCU size 8) lines that are the lines obtained by removing lower eight lines among LCU lines next to the current LCU lines. The present disclosure is applicable to for example image processing devices.
