Imaging Device Out Of Focus Amount Computation Method And Imaging Optics

Abstract: Provided is an imaging device that with a simple architecture accurately corrects a level difference between output signals from a pair of phase detection pixels. For each of a plurality of information sets each corresponding to different light beam incidence angles at a given position in the X direction of a light receiving surface (50) a main camera unit (200) stores sensitivity ratio data that indicates the sensitivity ratio between one pixel (51R) at that position and a nearby imaging pixel (51) and the sensitivity ratio between another pixel (51L) at that position and the nearby pixel (51). A system control unit (11) acquires information on the light beam incidence angle at each of two positions on the light receiving surface (50) corresponding to set optical conditions. The system control unit (11) then uses the sensitivity ratio data corresponding to the acquired light beam incidence angles to correct the level difference between output signals from the abovementioned pixels (51R 51L).
