Abstract: The present invention provides an impact-absorbing structure including a first member formed from a metal material and a second member that extends in an axial direction of the first member, wherein the first member has a cylindrical shape, the length of the second member in the axial direction is 15% to 75% of the length of the first member in the axial direction, provided that D is the end-to-end distance between the first member and the second member, R is the maximum radius of curvature of the first member, and t is the plate thickness of the first member, the relationship D<0.40Rt is satisfied, and there exists a joint line that is between the first member and the second member and extends in a direction different from the circumferential direction of the first member.
