3. PREAMBLE
The following specification describes the nature of the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed

Field of the Invention
The present invention relates generally to life saving devices, more particularly to an improved life saving device based on breadth retention capacity to provide desired support to swimmers, learning to swim.

Background of the Invention
Conventional life saving devices work on water activated batteries that start buzzing once water enters the device and shows a warning written on them – “ cannot be heard if the unit is submerged under the water” .These devices cannot function in seas and oceans and are considered risky for the swimming learners, as they may drown in the water, while learning to swim.

In the prior art, many different types and styles of life saving devices are known. Some of these devices are capable of use both as a life saving device and as a swimming aid. Moreover, some of these devices have selectively adjustable size and buoyancy. However, these devices either have substantially fixed harness configurations or fixed buoyancy.

Due to the above shortcomings, there is a need for an improved life saving device which can set off an alarm in case of emergency, the swimmer is under water after preset number of seconds which is based on the swimmers breath retention capacity.
Objectives of the Invention
The main objective of the present invention is to provide an improved life saving device which can set off an alarm if the swimmer is under water after preset number of seconds and is based on the swimmers breath retention capacity.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide an improved life saving device that can adjust different time frame for different swimmers according to their breath holding capacity.
Still another objective of the present invention is to provide an improved life saving device which is simple in construction, durable in use, efficient in operation and economical in manufacture.
Summary of the Invention

The present invention relates to an improved life saving device comprising of a transmitter a receiver and an alarm. Said transmitter is placed on the swimmers head and receiver is with the respective trainer, characterized in that said alarm provides signals to the swimmer while under water after preset number of seconds which is based on the swimmers breath retention capacity.

The present invention relates to an improved life saving device which can set off an alarm if the swimmer is under water after preset number of seconds and is based on the swimmers breath retention capacity. The device can also be used near noisy places for example beaches and oceans.
The device comprises of a paired transmitter and receiver. The transmitter is placed on the swimmers head and receiver is with the respective trainer. The paired transmitter–receiver monitors many learners at a same control room. When the swimmers head is out of water , the transmitter will send the signals to the receiver, a green light will glow. In case the swimmer is drowning, signals will not be able to pass from water, therefore the receiver will not get any kind of signal, a red light will glow ( or a timer with buzzer will start or a timer will start with a fix time according to which swimmer can keep his breath).

Briefly description of drawings

The flow chart illustrates the steps that take place while the swimmer is learning to swim. The system comprises of
11) water level sensor
12) RF transmitter & receiver
13) LEDs
14) Controlling device
15) Cap for swimming learners

Detailed Description of the Invention
The system comprises of a water level sensor (11) and a trans receiver (12) which is attached in a cap (15). The cap (15) is used by swimming learners. This sensor will detect whether the head is immersed in water for more than a determined period of time. The receiver will be with the parent or guardian so that they would get a signal when the swimming learner is in danger. The water level sensor (11) gives the signal to the controlling device (14). If the head is not in water or in water for say not more than a fixed time (15-30 seconds), then the controlling device will give a signal to keep green LED ON to indicate everything is normal. In case, the head is immersed in water for more than a fixed time (15-30 seconds), , then immediately it will turn on the red LED and give a signal to the controlling device to transmit a signal to the receiver so that the receiver gives an indication in form of sound or a beep that the person is in danger which will help to save a life. The controlling device may refer to any microcontroller a microprocessor. Devices available are in form of wrist bands which cannot accurately detect whether a person is swimming or drowning as hands are mostly immersed in water. While this device is worn on head so can detect properly that the person is drowning or not.
The present invention relates to an improved life saving device which can set off an alarm if the swimmer is under water after preset number of seconds and is based on the swimmers breath retention capacity. The device can also be used near noisy places for example beaches and oceans. The said invention comprises of a transmitter, a receiver, plurality of light sources.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention the transmitter is placed on the swimmers head and receiver is with the respective trainer. The paired transmitter–receiver monitors many persons at a same control room. When the swimmers head is out of water, the transmitter will send the signals to the receiver, a green light will glow. In case the swimmer is drowning, signals will not be able to pass from water therefore the receiver will not get any kind of signal, a red light will glow (or a timer with buzzer will start or a timer will start with a fix time according to which swimmer can keep his breath).
It should be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
