Abstract: The present invention relates to an in-situ tool to facilitate assembly and disassembly of an accumulator bladder on board submarines and ships in hindered places and a method of its operation thereof
DESC:FIELD OF INVENTION:
The present invention relates to an in-situ tool for assembly and disassembly of an accumulator bladder in submarines and ships. More particularly, the present invention relates to an in-situ tool to facilitate assembly and disassembly of an accumulator bladder on board submarines and ships in hindered places and a method of its operation thereof
BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART:
Accumulator bladder is used in systems of submarines and ships. The purpose of this is to even out any sudden variations in hydraulic pressure. The accumulator bladder consists of a NBR rubber bladder which contains the hydraulic fluid of the system. At times, the bladder gets punctured during operation. In such cases the accumulator bladder needs to be disconnected from the piping and dismounted from the mounting bracket. The punctured accumulator bladder needs to be then moved into the workshop for repairing.
Few prior arts describe new and improved accumulator bladder systems but fail to give solution on repairing the punctured accumulator bladder. Such as, PCT publication WO2016167846 describes an improved bladder having a dispersion tube to ensure the hydraulic fluid stored in the bladder is communicated into the seawater chamber of the subsea piston accumulators as desired, but ‘846 does not talk about in-situ tool for disassembly and assembly of accumulator bladder to save the repairing time.
Conventionally, the punctured accumulator bladder was brought to the workshop for repairing which is a tedious task. Thus, there is a need of a tool that enables to complete the entire process of repairing to be carried out in-situ, which in turn saves a considerable amount of time and man hours in the said repair work.
The present invention thus discloses a tool to facilitate assembly and disassembly of accumulator bladder on board submarines and ships.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The main objective of the present invention is to provide an in-situ tool to facilitate the disassembly and assembly of an accumulator bladder on board submarine and ships in hindered places.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a tool that can repair any accumulator in-situ on ships and submarine irrespective of space constraint.
Yet another objective off the present invention is to provide a method for the disassembly and assembly of an accumulator bladder on board submarine and ships in hindered places by using an above-said tool.
Accordingly, the present invention provides an in-situ tool to facilitate disassembly and assembly of accumulator bladder on board submarine and ships in hindered places.
The in-situ tool to facilitate the disassembly and assembly of an accumulator bladder comprises a holding adaptor (1) which is mounted on the threaded part of the bladder and a pulling chord (2) connected to the holding adaptor.
In an embodiment, an in-situ tool of the present invention to facilitate disassembly and assembly of accumulator bladder, wherein said tool is configured to repair any accumulator in-situ on ships and submarine irrespective of space constraint.
Furthermore, an in-situ tool of the present invention to facilitate disassembly and assembly of accumulator bladder, wherein said tool is easy to operate, compact, allows for repair of accumulator bladder in-situ, and it is operable even in hindered space without the need for dismounting of the accumulator from mounting bracket for repair of accumulator.
The present invention further relates to a method of operation to facilitate disassembly and assembly of accumulator bladder on board submarine and ships.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
The invention is described herein in detail with the help of figures appended at the end of the specification. The figures illustrate the preferred embodiment as well as other embodiments that define the scope of the present invention. However, it may be understood that the figures presented herein are intended to exemplify the scope of the invention only. The person skilled in art may note that by no means the figures limit the scope of the invention. Any variation in the drawings by any other person will be falling in the scope of the present invention.
Accordingly, in order to accomplish an objective, the present invention provides an in-situ tool to facilitate disassembly and assembly of accumulator bladder on board submarine and ships in hindered places.
The in-situ tool to facilitate the disassembly and assembly of an accumulator bladder comprises of a holding adaptor (1) mounted on a threaded part of a bladder and a pulling chord (2) connected to the holding adaptor.
Further, the said disassembly and assembly tool comprises of an adaptor which fits on the male adaptor of the bladder. The adaptor on the other end is connected to a hose. The bladder is first tied together to decrease the cross-sectional area of the bladder. The said bladder is then inserted from one end and pulled through the other end.
As illustrated in Figures 1-3, the disassembly and assembly tool for an accumulator bladder on board submarine and ship is disclosed.
An in-situ tool of the present invention facilitates disassembly and assembly of accumulator bladder, wherein said tool can repair any accumulator in-situ on ships and submarine irrespective of space constraint within a period of 4 man hours.
Further, the said tool according to the present invention can be used for various other similar accumulators and is not limited to accumulator bladder of submarines and ships.
ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION:
The advantages of the present invention include, ease of use, compact, allows for repair of accumulator bladder in-situ and can be used for repair of accumulator even in hindered space without the need for dismounting of the accumulator from mounting bracket. Further, any accumulator can be repaired in-situ on ships and submarine irrespective of constraints in space. Furthermore, as the entire process of repairing can be carried in-situ, it also saves a considerable amount of time and man hours in repair work.
The foregoing descriptions are merely specific embodiments of the present invention, but are not intended to limit the protection scope of the present invention. Any variation or replacement readily figured out by a person skilled in the art within the technical scope disclosed in the present invention shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present invention shall be subject to the protection scope of the claims.
