Abstract: The invention disclosed in this application relates to a Stand which is specially designed to keep the Inauguration Stones. This Stand consists of a rectangular frame which holds the inauguration stones through a slot. This frame is welded to a vertical cylindrical pipe at an angle of 135°. This Cylindrical pipe is then welded to a square plate of 300mm x 300mm at the base. The total structure is made of stainless steel in order to avoid rusting and for stability purpose. The stand height is 5 Feet in which 1 foot is buried on the ground to make the stand stable to the ground.
Description
The Design of New Inauguration Stone Stand is developed to increase the Royal image of any corporate buildings. This Stand design will give an excellent scene to the elevation of the building.
Background of the invention:
It is tradition for the New Commercial buildings to have their Inauguration Stone fixed on the wall near the main entry of the building. It's not only for their grace, but also to have the information about the building as such when it was build and which VIP inaugurated it.
In olden days they used to engrave those write up on the rocks, which is called as culverts. These can be seen in most of the Hindu Temples. As the trend changes architectural field developed and new design buildings were built. They made their write ups in stones such as granites and marbles. These stones are pasted to the walls of the building using cement, or separate concrete structure is specially made near the buildings to keep these stones. These structures were decorated with some architectural work with fountains/ garden.
And now the trend is different, all new buildings right now are elevated with Glass structures. Full Glass structures and Claddings gives the gigantic buildings a royal and decent look.
Need for the Development
We surveyed in the market and but we can't find any other option for keeping inauguration Stone.
So, an attempt was made by us keeping in mind all the requirements to make a stand with a new style and also to avoid the problems faced by old inauguration stones.
The following steps were followed for designing the Inauguration Stone Stand taking into consideration all the requirements.
Designing the Inauguration Stone Stand
1. The first requirement for designing the Inauguration Stone Stand is the height. It should be to the proper height so that there should be no strain to our neck.
2. The second requirement is the viewing angle. Proper angle should be maintained, so that the letters in the stone is visible from any direction.
3. The third requirement is the stability of the stand. It's should be stable enough to withstand the wind pressure, no shaking should be there.
4. The fourth requirement was the material which should be rust proof, since it's kept outside the building.
5. The fifth requirement was the size of the frame in which inauguration stone is fitted.
Embodiments of the Inauguration Stone Stand
1. Taking into consideration the above requirement, the height of the
Inauguration stone stand is kept as 1350mm. Fig.l
2. The second requirement was the viewing angle. Letters should be visible from all sides, so that the angle of the Frame holder is made as 135°. Fig.2
3. The third requirement was the stability. To keep the stand stable on the ground, flat square plate of 300mm x 300mm is welded at the bottom of the stand and the base is buried 300mm below the ground. Fig.3
4. The fourth requirement was the material. Since it's kept outside the building rusting is possible in case of rain, hence Stainless Steel is preferred which is rust proof. This material also adds royal look to it.
5. The fifth requirement was the size of the frame, which can be designed according to the stone size and can be welded to the frame holder.Fig.4
Advantage of the development
This stand is simple and portable; it can be kept at any place outside the building.
No separate structures like brick work, or cement plastering work in needed.
This Stand is suitable for all buildings such as cladded building, bungalows.etc.
Any Stones like marbles, granites etc can be easily fitted to the Frame of stand.
We claim
1. The Inauguration stone stand which holds the stone to an angle of 135° to the
vertical cylindrical pipe. This cylindrical pipe is 1125mm long; at the base of
the pipe a square plate of 300mm x 300mm is welded to give stability to the
structure. Total height of 1350 stand, 300mm is buried under ground to make it
stable in the ground. And hence 1050mm is visible to our naked eyes.
2. A Stand as claimed in claim 1 where the length of cylindrical pipe is 1125mm
long.
3. A Stand as claimed 1 & 2 where in the diameter of the cylindrical pipe is 75
mm.
4. A device as claimed 1 to 3 where the angle of the frame is 135° to the vertical
cylindrical pipe.
