Inertial Measuring Unit With Reduced Sensitivity To Thermomechanical Constraints
Abstract: Measuring unit comprising at least two elements, namely a frame and an inertial sensor, a first of the elements being provided with pads having a surface on which a bearing surface of a second of the elements is applied under a force substantially normal to the surfaces which is exerted by at least one clamping element, the pads having dimensions and a geometry designed to: - enable a deformation of the pads under the effect of a thermomechanical stress generated in a range of operating temperatures of the measuring unit so as to prevent the surfaces from sliding relative to one another under the effect of said constraint, - hold the inertial sensor in position by providing a limited transmission of vibrations which is compatible with the operation of the sensor.
