Information Presentation Device, And Information Presentation Control Method
Abstract: The present invention: recognizes one or more obstacles from an outside-of-vehicle image; generates obstacle information indicating the obstacle recognition results; generates, from a vehicle interior image, line-of-sight information indicating the direction of the line of sight of a driver; and on the basis of the obstacle information and the line-of-sight information, makes determinations regarding display by each of a plurality of display means. An image including each recognized obstacle is displayed by a display means that is, from the perspective of the driver, in the direction of the obstacle or a direction close thereto. The driver, who visually recognizes a given direction around the vehicle, will visually recognize an image obtained by imaging in the same direction, so it is not necessary for the driver to move their line of sight, and therefore, the time until confirmation of the displayed image can be shortened. In addition, an obstacle in the image displayed by the display means is positioned in the same direction as said display means, so the driver is able to intuitively grasp the direction in which said obstacle is present.
